What people have to say about our work www.RatnaNidhi.org Ph. No. 022-23898930 13 What you see here is agony and smiles. We face small challenges in our life and we get disheartened. Here you see the big challenges of these young people, they have to face it for the rest for their lives, and they face it with a smile. Whatever God has given us we should share. Donor - Shri Gulabchandbhai Shah There was a time when only those donors were appreciated who would donate at temples & other religious places whereas here such donors are being felicitated who are providing Hearing Aid to the deaf, Jaipur foot to disabled, Tricycle to those who need them. This is a campaign to serve living Gods which will encourage other people of the society to follow the suite. Shri Narendra Modi - Prime Minister Please accept my compliments for the extremely useful welfare and developmental work which your trust has been doing, particularly for poor and marginalized sections of the society and for the rehabilitation of the physically challenged people. It is heartening to learn that you are reaching out to remote, border areas of our country in your noble mission. Your welfare and developmental work in Rajouri, Kargil and Leh would have not only benefitted the needy people of these locations but also helped in integrating people from these areas into national mainstream. General V P Malik, PVSM, AVSM - Former Chief of the Army Staff The mission of the Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust (RNCT), an NGO, is to transform lives in India as well as other developing countries by promoting health, education and vocational training. Primary objective is to help beneficiaries become independent so that they can earn their livelihood. The Food project of this trust feeds over 6000school going children everyday, majority of them lives in slums. Their services are free to any needy person irrespective of color, creed, race, religion or national origin. RNCT took the responsibility for educating all 150 children of victims of 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Educare has partnered with RNCT to educate 30 of these children. Our Partner NGO - USA Educare Foundation, Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust has been helping us in our Project- Hunger-free India wherein we provide mid day meals to school going children, with the ultimate objective being improving the overall education scenario. The food provided by them is of a consistent quality and always reaches in time. We have been working with them for almost 5 years now and have found their humane approach and sense of Sewa to be very inspiring. They have also helped us in identifying new and needy schools. we look forward to a long and meaningful partnership with them in this nation building initiative. Our Partner NGO - Dharma Bharathi Mission www.RatnaNidhi.org Ph. No. 022-23898930 14 It is amazing to see the joy on their faces in spite of so much of grief. I am very Happy to see this kind of work, its like a Creation, creating something out of nothing! This is a kind of work that can be compared to the Kohinoor diamond. Donor - Smt. Urmilaben Dholakia, USA I think this Foundation is started for a good cause. People, I think, when they get artificial leg they will not think that it is an artificial but it is a real leg they got and it is like a re-birth for them. Ratna Nidhi Charity is very good. People should come forward to help them because they are not charging anything. It is a tremendous job because spontaneously they are doing. It is not like any other trust, spontaneously they are doing it and keen interest they are taking in it. Mr. A. L. Quadros General Secretary Mumbai Taximen's Union I am very happy meeting Mahendrabhai Mehta and group of his Indian friends, Who really dedicate to the welfare of humanity, in general particularly in this country. This is great, great work and great service to humanity in general particularly the less privileged or unfortunate people. Such great work great service, I really admire. His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama This is a permanent center and more importantly, a NGO is running it. Hospitals have such center is a different thing and NGO running such center is totally different thing because NGO do it with all their hearts. Everything is managed by them including fund raising etc and it is done without government help. It is self sufficient. Donor - Shri Arvindbhai Shah & Dineshbhai Shah (M/S ASIAN STAR LTD.) I have been associated with RatnaNidhi as a volunteer, as a fund raiser and as admirer of this work for many many years. Now seeing this Camp I am very glad that there is permanent Center in this area rather than having camps which is sporadic kind of activity. We have permanent base because of which we are able to serve as many people as possible and more people than we can before. So I am very happy being here, its wonderful location, wonderful place, centrally located in Bombay and so many dedicated people working for this. It's a wonderful feeling to be here and all the best! Fund Raiser - Singer Mr. Sanjiv Shah We would like to thank your esteemed organization for the generosity and concern towards needy elders.
