Rave:GettingStarted

This document serves to inform SWOG CRAs of what they can expect from the first time they

logon to Rave, and from subsequent logons.

IRB Approval Starts the Process

When your Institutional Review Board (IRB) approves a Rave study, and that approval is

processed at the CTSU, the identified Rave Users at your institution will receive an email inviting

them to join the Rave study. By default, the Head CRA at your institution is identified as a Rave

User. He or she may add other Rave Users as needed through the CTSU website Regulatory >

Site Roles tab. A training video and reference sheet under the Help icon are available for

setting user roles.

iMedidata Account Activation

The email invitation for your first Rave study will invite you to activate your iMedidata account.

This email will look similar to this:

Clicking on the link in the email will take you to a page within iMedidata that looks like this:

Complete the Username, Password and Password Confirmation fields using your CTEP IAM

username and password (the same one you use for OPEN). Choose a security question and

give an answer. Click the Activate button.

This will redirect you to the iMedidata portal where you will logon using the username and

password you just setup.

You will need to “sign” this agreement one time. Use the username and password you just

setup.

And now you’re done with Account Activation.
