ACADEMIC PROJECT:

Main Project: Project Title: “The design of spline cutting on T-K rollers” at Vizag Steel Plant-

Vishakapatnam.

Description: The aim of the project is to design spline and the principle used that the torque is transmitted from one shaft to another. The designation of spline profile is module, pitch circle diameter, number of teeth’s. The components are used for the project in the work shop re single point cutting tool, multi point cutting tool and shafts. The spline is used in many applications such as transfer of rotational concentricity, axial & rotary motion at the same time, and in automobile, machine tools & other industries.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Secured 1st prize in D-Zone KHO-KHO at PACE Institute of Engineering and Sciences

Undergone inplant training in Vizag Steel Plant- Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, for a period of 30 days (March, 2014) and learnt about the manufacturing of steel in different departments and Engineering shops and foundary (ES&F), it is an itigrated company to collect all the sources from different areas and design the product as per the customer likes and it is also known as Rastriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) and operates 6.3 millions tones per annum of steel.
