RDF to XML Conversion Process – Concurrent Program Registration
Version 1.0
Steps for migration: Convert the RDF report into XML Report and use this XML as a Data Template , we follow the below steps:
START
Place all the Required Jar files in a folder: Here we are creating a folder called ”RDF-XML Conversion”
1) Take the rdf which needs to be converted and place it in the above folder
2) Run the command called “rwconverter”
2.1) By running the above command we get 1 file, i.e.
a) An XML Document
3) We run another command called DataTemplateGenerator, hence we
get 2 files
a) Data Template Creation
b) Packages for Triggers
4) A final command will be executed for rtftemplategenerator hence we
get2 files
a) RTF Template Creation.
b) Log File

Data Template Creation + Packages for Triggers
Step 4)
RTF Template Creation + Log file
All the executed files from the above step, will be automatically placed in the same folder. The following 6 files are created i.e. XXCFIRPOC series
Compile the Packages created as part of the Data Template Generation using Java commands.
Compiling Spec & Body
Create a New Concurrent Program – ‘POC Cisco 2 Tier Reserves Report Product and Product Subscription’ using ‘Copy to’ function.Navigation: Application Developer Concurrent Program
Use the executable XDODTEXE as it generates PDF from XML
Create Data Definition
Navigation: XML Publisher Administrator Home Data Definitions
Click on the Data Definitions to open the Data Definitions Page. Click on Create Data Definition.
Enter the name, Code (This must be same as the Short Name of the Concurrent Program) etc.
Add the generated Data Template to the Data Template field by clicking the browse button.
The created Data Template is as below:
Create RTF Template

The Created RTF is as below:
Add the Concurrent program to Request Group
Query the Request Group of the Responsibility ‘Cisco AR SupUsr’.
Add the concurrent program ‘POC Cisco 2 Tier Reserves Report Product and Product Subscription’ to the Request Group.
Run the program from the SRS / US AR Super User. The corresponding Layout has been automatically selected as shown below:
The program has completed successfully.
The Output file of the program is as attached:
