Read, Write, Draw (RDW)
RDW is a suggested method of instructional delivery. Mathematicians and teachers suggest a simple process applicable to all grades. RDW is a four step problem-solving process that supports students through both visual and kinesthetic accommodations. The RDW strategy allows students to closely read and unpack the problem to develop a deeper understanding of the mathematical concepts.
