This scholarship is o�ered to one outstanding adult learner per semester, age 24 or older.
Recipient must have earned an associate’s degree from Harper College and enroll in an accelerated degree completion program at Elmhurst College.
Completed applications must be received by July 15 to be considered for Fall.

A Scholarship Opportunity for Harper College Alumni continuing their education through the School for Professional Studies at Elmhurst College
The Elmhurst College/Harper College Alumni Scholarship was established in 2015 by Dr. Timothy Ricordati, Dean of the School for Professional Studies at Elmhurst College, with the intent to support the education of a Harper College graduate that is an outstanding adult learner who transfers into an accelerated degree completion program offered through the School for Professional Studies at Elmhurst College.
Accelerated degree completion programs at Elmhurst help students earn an undergraduate degree quickly, while evening and online classes accommodate a variety of schedules. Accelerated degree completion programs offered include the Elmhurst Management Program (Business Administration), Cyber Security, Digital Cinema, Information Technology and Applied Psychology.
Scholarship Amount: Award of $3,500 per term at Elmhurst College
Criteria:
• Complete an associate’s degree at Harper College• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale at time of application• Admitted to an accelerated degree completion program offered through the School for Professional Studies
at Elmhurst College• Maintain full-time enrollment (12 or more semester hours per term) and minimum 3.00 cumulative Elmhurst
College GPA while completing degree at Elmhurst College
Requirements:
• Completion of Elmhurst College/Harper College Alumni Scholarship application• Typewritten essay of no more than 500 words outlining applicant’s personal and professional goals and how
a degree from Elmhurst College will help the applicant reach his/her stated goals. Essay must be submitted with the scholarship application to be considered complete.
Deadline for Application:
• July 15th for fall semester enrollment• December 1st for spring semester enrollment

All scholarship applications will be reviewed by Elmhurst College. Scholarship recipients will be given written notice of the scholarship award after August 1st for the fall semester award and after December 15th for the spring semester award.
