WHO IS READING PETTALK?

Today's pet owner is more knowledgeable than ever before and more

passionate about including their pet's in their daily lives.

That’s why Houston PetTalk’s mission includes helping educate the

public on pet ownership, assists pet owners in finding valuable resources

for products and services and provides a profitable tool for local businesses

to advertise directly to a pet-centric audience.

Each dynamic issue features a cover story that directly impacts

Houstonians, unleashes local social events in pictures, offers training tips,

shopping, lifestyle segments, travel, and so much more. Our focus is on

pet related topics that are important within the community. The Pet Care

Industry remains strong: Pet care is the fastest growing retail category be-

hind electronics. It has been labeled

recession proof, and it continues

to project even more growth in the

coming years. Houston PetTalk

Magazine’s target is a motivated

consumer. They are individuals who spend quality time with their pets,

and are likely to include them in their many lifestyle decisions and events.

We speak directly to pet owners in a language that addresses their con-

cerns. We deliver information with passion to inform as well as inspire.

With over 60% of Houston households having pets, we are improving

monthly to provide information that truly reaches our target and gets

returns from this dedicated audience of Houston’s most powerful market

segment.

Months of Multimedia Exposure... One Low Price!

2016 Media Kitwww.houstonpettalk.com

Our photo contests provide

a great deal of exposure in

a variety of medias over

the span of 2-3 months.

Contests are run online, and

promoted in print, on social media,

our home page, and e-blasts. The

landing page will have your busi-

ness’ logo and a paragraph about

the company.

Contests have a central theme

and a prompt for the readers with a

catchy title. We ask sponsors to of-

fer a prize valued at a minimum of

$300 or more to provide incentive

to readers to share and promote on

their own, and to garner partic-

ipation. The winning photo and

runner-up photo are publishing in

Houston PetTalk.

FOR MORE INFORMATION Contact Michelle Mantor at 281.556.6560 or email [email protected]

There are two periods to each

contest, one for entering

and one for voting. Public

voting chooses the top contestants.

Finally, the contest sponsor selects

the winner from the finalists.

For more information and

pricing for contest sponsorship op-

portunities, please contact Houston

PetTalk.

How We Promote

In Print: We announce the

contest in an initial publication.

This announcement includes

“Sponsored By:” alongside your

business’ logo. In a second publica-

tion we publish either a half or full

page promotion announcing the

winner of the contest.

This means your info is printed

in over 60,000 issues of PetTalk!

These pages are designed in-

house and are typically featured

in the news section or along

with the monthly PetTalk ad for

announcements.

Full Page Winner Announcement:

Includes a paragraph about your

company and your logo.

Half Page Winner Announcement:

Includes only your logo.

In Our Newsletters: When

you choose a full page spot we will

include the contest in our monthly

E-Blast. These go out to over 6,000

readers.

On Social Media: No mat-

ter which size announcement

you choose we promote contests

multiple times per week during the

lifespan of the contest on Facebook

and Twitter. “Sponsored by Your

Business Name” would follow each

mention of the contest. Each post

will include a link to your business

where applicable. We have over

8,000 followers and friends to share

with!

On Our Website: When you

choose a full page spot, we will also

run a Full Banner Ad across the

home page promoting the con-

test with your logo, plus no matter

which option you choose, we will

make three posts announcing the

contest entry period, voting period,

and winner.

In Person: Of course, we always

promote our contests whenever we

attend a public event.
