Summer Break Camps are offered weekly from June 13 through August 19, 2016.

Space is limited, so register today!

How to Register

Easy online registration is available for all camps at www.smgov.net/reserve. Priority online

registration for Santa Monica Residents runs March 2 (6 am) through March 8, 2016.

Non-resident registration opens March 9. To download a registration form, visit

www.smgov.net/classes. Registration forms are accepted via email, fax, mail, or drop off.

Refunds & Transfers

A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refund/transfer requests must be

made in writing to the program supervisor in person or by fax, mail, or email. Class refunds and

transfers will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Camp refunds

will only be issued with medical documentation or if requested within 5 calendar days prior to the

first meeting. Refunds will be prorated.

Cancellations

A full refund will be granted if we cancel the program. All dates, times, locations, and instructors are

subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to combine classes as needed or cancel

programs due to insufficient enrollment. Due to the organizational needs of group classes, we are

not able to offer makeups for days missed by the student.

Material Fees are payable to the instructor in cash on the first day of class. Material fees are not

discountable or refundable.

machines to help lift weights and even launch marshmallows. Spend a day being a true Mad Scientist as you

learn about chemical reactions that you might encounter in your daily life. See how film captures light to store

images and how filmmakers make images move during “Shutterbugs” day. Walk on the wild side and explore

SharpeSkills Fitness (11-17 yrs) Instructor: Shelton Sharpe Clover Park SharpeSkills Fitness Camp is designed for youth of all athletic levels who are looking for a challenge. The program pushes kids past their usual limitations and helps them reach their highest fitness goals. The camp focuses on long distance running, parachute sprinting, hand and eye coordination techniques, agility, and resistance training using the TRX body-weight exercise straps along with the RIP trainer exercise resistance pole, and mixed martial arts training. Summer Stretch Yoga & Art (3-8 yrs) Instructor: Happy Kid Yoga Marine Park (indoor and outdoor) in June / Memorial Park Laurel Room in July and August Balance like a palm tree, roar like a lion, and stretch like a giraffe in this fun-filled yoga camp! Camp begins with a 40 minute class where students learn new poses and breathing techniques each day on an imaginary yoga adventure. Class ends by relaxing with peaceful music. After class, the excitement continues with yoga stories and games, a break for lunch, and a creative take-home art activity.
