Wheels provide a direct

wheels have been developed

using the same principle by which

we develop our vehicles: Form

follows function. All the wheels

for the new Cayenne models have

undergone a restyling. We’ve

also further improved our tires

for better driving performance

and handling, reduced rolling

resistance, and weight. In this

fuel economy and, of course,

Summer tires provide optimal

performance at ambient

temperatures above 44°F. Below

this point, the tire compound

begins to harden, and braking

distances are increased. We

therefore recommend that

you fit winter tires during the

colder months of the year. Only

then can you enjoy the highest

standards of active safety

from your Cayenne. All winter

tires approved by Porsche are

identified by an “N” designation on

the sidewall.

different. They have been

specially selected and tuned to

your Porsche vehicle so that

you can turn it into a mobile

communications and audio center.

PCM with navigation module

and CD/DVD changer

Powerful and versatile—yet easy

to use—the PCM is the central

control system for all information

and communication functions.

Key features include a seven-

inch high-resolution touchscreen

display. You can also operate

PCM using the rotary push-

button control. The menu

layout is extremely clear, with

no more than five entries per

page, enabling fast and accurate

operation. A help function is

displayed at the bottom of the

screen for further guidance

in specific situations.

Radio functions comprise 42

presets, and an FM dual tuner.

The CD/DVD drive plays CDs,

audio DVDs, and is MP3-

compatible. Audio playback of

video DVDs is also supported.

An optional integrated six-

disc CD/DVD changer is

available for the PCM.

A navigation module with high-

speed hard drive is included. The

map display offers a bird’s-eye

view as well as conventional 2-D

layout. In some regions, even

topography and buildings can be

displayed in 3-D. The remaining

route is automatically adapted

to the maximum screen size. In

split-screen mode, you can view

the current map section together

with a list of directions for the

next maneuver. The system also

indicates the respective speed

limit for the roads covered in the

database, via PCM or the TFT

display in the instrument cluster.

Porsche child seats meet

the latest safety standards.

Specially designed, tested, and

approved for Porsche cars,

they provide protection and

comfort to passengers up to 12

years of age. The fabrics are

breathable, hypoallergenic, and

easy to clean, with a removable

and washable cover in black

and grey with contrasting red

trim. The outer rear seats and

front-passenger seat in the

Cayenne are equipped with

LATCH preparation as standard.

These mounting points can be

used to secure any Porsche

child seat easily and safely.

Alternatively, all Porsche child

seats can be secured using the

standard three-point seat belts.
