Introduction

This is the first time that Bayanan Elementary

School Main will conduct an event this way. Its one of

a kind because we are promoting love for reading in a

fun way. We all hope that children will enjoy their

activity for its not every day that they will

experience this kind of atmosphere in school. Every

Grade 1 classroom that they will be going to visit willbe a delight for them for its festive look and cozy

appeal. Teachers will serve as facilitators for each

station. Each room has different fun reading activities

that will cater the need to practice reading and to

have fun while doing it. Children's reading activities

are designed to enrich and enlighten the reading

experience and hopefully lead to a lifetime love for

reading. Teachers have prepared reading activities that

hopefully will leave a mark to each childs memory for

they are unique, creative, interactive, motivating,

collaborative and fresh. We all wish that this is thebeginning of a long journey to make our children enjoy

reading thus making them good readers.

1. The teacher will group the pupils into 2 or 4.

2. The teacher will tell a riddle as the pupils guessedthe answers.

3. The pupil who knows the answer gets the jumping ropeand jump 3 times, then hula hoops two times after thatgoes in front of a chart (where the alphabet lettersare place) then gets the appropriate letter and spellsit.

4. The group who is fast and spells more words than theother groups wins.
