CONGRATULATE AND THANK OUR NEWESTMEMBERS OF THE

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL AND BOARD OFEDUCATION - 2019

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCILDave Bohnenkamp –I am a lifelong member of St. Philip Neri-BlessedSacrament.  My wife Juli and I have been married for

24 years.  I have previously served on both the ParishCouncil and School Board. I am an active member ofthe Knights of Columbus. All four of our childrenattended St. Philip Neri School and graduated fromCatholic high schools.  I believe in the community ofSt. Philip Neri-Blessed Sacrament.  I have a deeplyheld gratitude for the Catholic Church and this iswhat leads me in the service to others.  I lookforward to the opportunity to continue to serve andgrow our Parish community. Matt Bohnenkamp - IncumbentI am 43 years young, the second oldest of 4 kids bornto Bernie and Nancy and a member of the St. PhilipNeri Parish.  I attended St. Philip Neri School from 1st

to 8th grade.  I then attended Roncalli High Schooland graduated in 1993.  I went on to graduate fromthe University of Nebraska at Kearney with aBachelor of Science in Geography and a SpanishMinor in 1998.  I met my wife Sadie and we weremarried in Aurora, Ne. I served as a Natural Resources technician at theCentral Platte Natural Resources District in GrandIsland for 6 years.  I was promoted to theGeographical Information Systems (GIS) teammanager in 2005 and continued my career as acomputer mapping and modeling leader until 2011.After 16 years of service to the NRD,I chose a new life path to be close to family and tothe run the family business with my Mom, Nancy, atHarold's Koffee House.  I believe it was adivinely inspired move back to Omaha and St. PhilipNeri Church where I can now watch my son Clay, andhis cousins, appreciate the small, caring, communitythat I enjoyed. I believe that being asked to serve the Parish is adivine calling to use my talents, enthusiasm andpassion for the place I call home.  I believe in pushingopen doors that God presents to me. Even if it is justfor a peek.

BOARD OF EDUCATIONSarah Bohnenkamp -My husband Andy and I have been married for 15years and have been parishioners for 14. We have 6children of whom, 5 attend St Philip Neri GradeSchool. I have been a stay at home mom for 12 years.During that time I worked part time for SPN Parish

before the merger, helping with Development. Ihave also served as Co-President of the Home andSchool Association. Andy and I were leaders duringAlpha and are also serving on a committee helpingwith evangelization.Sandy Leininger -I am interested in running for SPN School Board. Ourfamily has recently moved to Omaha fromWinchester, KY. I have been married to Neil for 13years, and we have 5 children, Grace (6th grade), Kara(4th grade), Jack (2nd grade), Noah (Pre-K) and Jamesthe Destroyer (3). I grew up in Ohio, attendingCatholic schools my whole life. I received myChemical Engineering degree from the University ofDayton, and began working for an engineeringcompany in Louisville, KY. Once we were married, I“retired” to be a stay-at-home mom. Back inWinchester, I witnessed many school studentsbecome Catholic, bringing their parents and relativesinto the faith with them. I believe strongly that thevalue of Catholic schools is not simply to educatechildren but to create saints and to bring families toknow and love our Lord Jesus. We chose St. PhilipNeri as our parish and school because of the familyenvironment and kindness we felt during our househunting trip. We feel very blessed that God has ledup to be a part of this community.Kristin Neumann -My name is Kristin Neumann. I have four children, two of whom attend St. Philip Neri School.
