Next shipments for SAP HANA Live are planned for Q2.2015 and Q1.2016

Content extensions alongside are driven by application teams (e.g. CAR …)

Customers using SAP HANA Calculation views in 2-tier mode will be able to do so in SAP

S/4HANA on premise! This includes the calculation views delivered with sFIN but not the SAP

HANA Live ECC package

Customers having created their own Calc Views have to adapt them to the changed sLOG and

sFIN structures, but can in S/4HANA on-Premise continue to use this technology.

Migration of SAP HANA Live Virtual Data Models into Core Data Services are possible and

tools are under investigation

SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA provides enhanced analytical capabilities

due to the architecture based on SAP HANA – the value proposition gets

enhanced by the unique possibilities given with the new architecture, including

reimagined simplified business processes, user experience and business

The new concept of one semantic layer for search, operational and

analytical processing using open CDS views optimized for SAP HANA

technology and infrastructure, allows real-time operational reporting and will

be rolled out in all deployments of S/4HANA, cloud and on premise

S/4HANA Analytics complements and does not replace SAP Business

Warehouse (powered by SAP HANA)
