Project description: Teach children from 7 to 10 years English. Children shouldsee English as a fun. So you may teach typical English songs, little poems and playwith them, so they can learn without efforts. Create group games with the aim ofteaching them the ability to work in a team. Apart from teaching English, you canintroduce your culture to them, and help them be culturally more open andaccepting.

Social goals:

Help children understand and appreciate cultural difference and try to facilitatethe process of respecting the living diversity and maintaining such an attitudethrough life . Also teaching them the skills, that are necessary for a person in21st century - effective communication, self awareness, responsible mindset forthe word issues, cross cultural understanding. Familiarization children with a healthy way of life by participation in different sport activities and letting themknow how to live at piece with the nature.

Requirements: advanced English, ability to work with children, responsibility, reliability, creativeness, cheerfulness, patienсe, presentation skills.

Working day: EPs are to work with children 5 days a week for 5-6 hourseach day. Methods of teaching English are preferably interactive, including different activities as well as ordinary lessons.

Accommodation: living in a Host-Family with a separate bed or living in a hostel with a separate bed. Lunches are in school once a day.

Required preparation:

Searching&learning English children songs, stories, games, preparing presentationsbefore arrival and during the stay. Preparing for introducing own culture withpictures and any other objects you can bring.

!!! Please note that we will have a Global village, so you have to bring traditionalfood, drinks, games, dress, flag, etc with you !!!

Departure info: we will do our best to help an EP if he/she would ask for it.

Health insurance: needed.

Logistics:

AIESEC Minsk guarantees picking up at the airport, help with all necessary stufffor the visa(if it`s required) and a support during your life-changing experience =)

Expenses:

Round-tickets and the visa (if it`s required), insurance. Transport in Minsk is atEPs` own expenses. All additional trips and entertainment which aren`t included inthe program of the project are also at EPs` own expenses.

Coming in Belarus you`ll be pleasantly astonished by national cuisine and will find out that the most tolerant and

friendly people live here!
