Rebekah Rehabilitation and Extended Care Center believes in a resident-centered care, communicated in a hotel atmosphere and substantial archi-tectural enhancements: separate lounges, separate dining rooms, wider cor-ridors, biaxial resident rooms and day lit program and activity spaces.

Providing work areas that are pleasurable to the eye and less restrictive to ac-complish ones’ particular tasks, be they nursing or housekeeping, has already increased worker performance and general satisfaction. A bakery and café in the main lobby allows residents/families and employees to co-mingle in a comfortable setting.

Increased space for rehabilitation was requested for future demand. A larger kitchen was requested in anticipation of other entities on the campus in the future. Resident rooms were designed to ensure patient privacy and a better quality of life. The owner requested vibrant color palettes reflecting our multi-ethnic census.
