WHO WE ARE

Rebuilding Together Metro Denver has been serving the community and people of the Denver area since 1999.

Since our founding, we have rehabilitated over 3,000 homes and community centers, with over 17,000 volunteers.

Our mission is to provide crucial home repairs, safety modifications, and energy efficiency upgrades to qualified homeowners and community centers in need.

WHO WE ARE, CONT.

Rebuilding Together Metro Denver (RTMD) is one of over 190 affiliates in the Rebuilding Together, Inc. network. Rebuilding Together has affiliates throughout the nation.

Rebuilding Together is the nation’s largest volunteer-based nonprofit. The majority of the repairs performed are done by skilled and unskilled volunteers.

RTMD hosts rebuild days throughout the year. Rebuilds are generally sponsored by businesses or organizations who supply volunteers for the projects.

WHY WE SERVE

The number of low-income homeowners is on the rise each year and many of the disadvantaged homeowners are faced with the difficult decision of buying needed medical supplies and food or repairing their homes.

RTMD is committed to preserving affordable homeownership and helping eliminate the cost of these repairs.

2011

In 2011, RTMD served more than 600 at-risk older adults, veterans, and persons living with disabilities.

Nearly 2000 volunteers dedicated over 23,000 hours rehabilitating homes and community centers.

Over 300 businesses, foundations and government agencies partnered with RTMD to ensure that at-risk homeowners live in safe and healthy homes and communities.

$650,000 worth of in-kind labor and materials were provided by professional roofers, plumbers, contractors, skilled volunteers and local businesses.
