    Receipts1. Use the link given to you to initiate a telnet session.

    2. Select Default by clicking on the number 1 or by hitting Enter.

    3. Enter your User Name and Password .

    4. Hit Enter.

    You will be automatically entered into the Materials & Mfgresponsibility.

    5. Choose the Receiving function by clicking on the number 1 or hittingEnter.

    6. Choose the Receipts function by clicking on the number 1 or hittingEnter.

    7. Choose the type of Receipt by clicking on the corresponding number or using the down arrow to the sequence number and hitting Enter.

    8. The first time in the application, enter the Org Code. By usingCTRL+L you can choose from a listing.

    Choosing PO in Step 7 results in the following screen after choosingan organization:

    9. Enter the Purchase Order number in the PO Num field or select froma list by using the CTRL+L function.

    Choose the correct PO by using the arrow keys and then select byhitting Enter.

    10. Enter the PO line number in the Line Num field or choose from thelist by using the List of Values.

    If there is only one line on the Purchase Order only that line will bedisplayed. And you will be prompted for the Item.

    If there are multiple lines on the Purchase Order you will need tochoose the line to receive.

    11. Choose the line and item numbers and hit Enter.

    12. Scan or enter the Subinventory into the To Sub field or use the Listof Values.

    13. Enter the quantity being received.

    14. The cursor will move to the Next Item bar. Click the key to process the next line.

    Note: Even if you did not want to do another receipt you canmove to the Done line and hit Enter.

    15. Use the steps above to enter additional receipts.

    Receipts16. When the entire order has been processed, the cursor will move to

    the Done bar. Hit the Enter key.

    After pressing the key on the Done bar, a screen will bedisplayed where additional information can be entered. Note: ThePacking Slip number is MANDATORY. You must put somethingin this field.

    17. Once any additional information has been entered, use the key on the Done bar. The following screen will appear telling youthat your transaction was successful and allow you to do another receipt or Logout.

    Subinventory Transfer

    A subinventory transfer is a transaction to move inventory from onelocation to another. Some of the reasons to use this transaction are:

    Combine items into one area. Move suspect material away from good material. Transfer stock to a larger or smaller location.

    19. Select Default by clicking on the number 1 or by hitting Enter.

    21. Hit Enter.

    You will be automatically entered into the Materials & Mfgresponsibility.

    22. Choose the Inventory function by clicking on the number 2 or hittingEnter.

    23. Choose the Transfers function by clicking on the number 3 or arrowdown to Transfers and hit Enter.

    24. Choose Sub Transfer by clicking on the number 1 or hitting Enter.

    25. The first time in the application, enter the Org Code. By usingCTRL+L you can choose from a listing.

    26. Scan or enter the item. You can also use the List of Values to find anitem. The Description, UOM and Available Quantity will display.

    27. Enter or select (use + L) the Subinventory the item willtransferred from.

    Subinventory Transfer 28. Enter the quantity being transferred in the Qty field.

    Note : If the available quantity is 0, it indicates there is no on-hand balance of the item in the specified Subinventory and youwill be unable to process the item. An inquiry of the item should

    be performed to identify the correct Subinventory to issue theitem from. This inquiry will be done in Oracle, not in the telnetsession.

    29. Enter the destination Subinventory in the To Sub field.

    30. Optionally, enter a reason .

    31. Arrow down to the Save/Next bar and click .

    32. You will receive a Txn Success message.

    33. Continue entering items to be transferred using the steps above.When finished, click on the Done bar.
