The aim of the EOD network is that millions of books are available as eBooks in every European library.

The minimum requirements needed at your library to maintain the service are basic

- a book scanner and Internet connection

Each library is free to decide which books are made available for the digitisation (depending on local and national policy and regulations).

The digitised books will belong to the library and you can integrate them into your digital library or repository

Conclusion The number of EOD member institutions is expected to reach at least 50 in next years.

The network welcomes public archives, museums and other cultural institutions!

Joining EOD network offers great opportunity for users to aquire old books to satisfy their personal interests and needs (working, studying, etc.)

Libraries can order reprints from other libraries for their own collection
