Profile I have been working with computers for several years, from word processing software to spreadsheets to developing programs using a variety of programming languages. I also have extensive experience in customer service, primarily through self-employment as an independent contractor/landscaper during summer college breaks and selling of recreational products for a regional firm. During my employment and studies, I have found an ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly. Experience STAND MANAGER, TRI-STATE FIREWORKS; GAINESVILLE, VIRGINIA — 2014-PRESENT Stand Managers at Tri-State Fireworks are a seasonal position for roughly three weeks during the summer. Applicable skills include using a cash register, customer service, stocking, managing and maintaining inventory. The company places a large emphasis on customer service, and instructs stand managers to adopt a ‘customer is always right’ attitude. SUPPLY TEAM LEADER, CHRISTOPHER NEWPORT UNIVERSITY OFFICE OF ADMISSION; NEWPORT NEWS, VIRGINIA — 2013-2015 Manager of inventory and fellow supply team members. Responsible for keeping track of totals of various publications used by Admission Officers when they travelled to high schools and college fairs. Applicable Skills include using computers to track where items are as well as maintaining an up-to-date count of supplies needed to keep the Admission Office running smoothly.
