Recess in North Carolina

2nd and 5th grade collaborative writing project
In the morning we unpack and do math and reading. When we go outside for recess at 11:10, we play soccer, football, tag, and kickball. When it's hot we wear shorts and short sleeve shirt. When it’s cold we wear long sleeve shirt and pants. If we don't go outside we play 7 up or Good Morning Mr. Judge. We have 30 or 20 minutes of recess. Sometimes we have extra recess. I wish we had extra recess every day it will be great!
We have to give respect to get respect. The best thing I like about recess is having fun with my friends and talking to them. When recess is over we go in to the class and watch CNN student news. Then we go to lunch. School end at 2:45 I can't wait for tomorrow; I love school!
