Georgia Kohart served as the emcee for the 2013 Recipe Challenge, sponsored by The Crescent-News and held on Oct. 15. Kohart has a column about food that runs on Fridays in The Crescent-News. She is also a staff writer at the paper and writes many feature articles, and is the author of four books including, “Heart and Hearth — Christmas on the Farm,” which includes a number of recipes.
