I am pleased to write a letter of recommendation for Darla Farmer. Darla joined Sun Media in November of 2010 as our Advertising Design Manager. In her capacity as Design Manager, Darla supervised a staff of 9 Designers who handled day-to-day creation and design for all advertisements in Sun Media’s 13 daily and weekly publications. Darla’s position was eliminated when Sun Media Group made a corporate decision to outsource the advertising design responsibilities.

Over the years Darla has had to adapt to many different situations that have come up in her position. She has always handled each one with her best efforts and a great deal of professionalism. She is a reliable and conscientious employee who was able to communicate effectively with people in various roles and truly cares about customer service and the needs of our advertisers. Darla is an effective organizer and her likeable and dependable personality made her enjoyable to work with and for.

In the newspaper business, we produce a new product each day and deadlines need to be met. Darla has the ability to meet deadlines on a regular basis while still meeting the customer’s needs. She has a great deal of dedication, loyalty, kindness and integrity. I have enjoyed working with Darla over the years and her experience will be an asset to any organization.
