Equipment Checkout PolicyPatron(s) Responsibility- Patrons assume responsibility for all equipment issued and will be charged for all equipment items damaged, lost, stolen, or misplaced, along with shipping and administration costs. Patron(s) signing for receipt of equipment will be responsible for the condition of listed equipment. Patrons will return all items clean, dry, and suitable for immediate reissue to avoid cleaning fees. Patron's have the responsibility to check each item's condition before taking the item out of the facility. If item presents to be unacceptable, ask a staff member to exchange it. If you aren't familiar with how to properly utilize the equipment, ask for assistance and instruction. After patron signs the equipment rental form and leaves the facility with their items, it is their responsibility to ensure that the rental equipment is returned with accordance to this policy. Also all vehicles must have operating lights and wiring harness assemblies before renting rolling stock. Rental Time Frame- Items may be checked out and returned 30 minutes before close. Late Fee- Patrons will be charged a daily rate for each day the item is late.Cleaning and Refolding Fee- Equipment will be cleaned and in a serviceable condition at the time of return. A cleaning charge of $100 will be assessed for rental items being returned that requires cleaning. A refolding charge of $50 will be assessed for rental items being returned that requires refolding. Damaged or Lost/Stolen Items- Equipment will be replaced with a like item by the patron (upon the Outdoor Recreation Director’s approval) or asked for the replacement cost of the item (includes cost of the item, shipping fees and handling fees).Reservation Policy- Select items may be reserved no more than 30 days in advanced. A one day rental fee must be paid as a deposit, excluding bouncy castles, which is a $25 deposit.
