An online gateway providing a convenient tool toconduct recruitment of Trinity students and graduates.The system provides fully automated job postings,referrals, and scheduling for on campus recruitment.Using TigerJobs, recruiters can:

• Post company/organization contact profiles

• Advertise for job or internship vacancies

• Request or obtain candidate resumes

• Request on-campus interviews or information sessions

• Register for career fairs, non-profit fairs, or grad-uate/professional school fairs

A recruiter can create a profile in TigerJobsto provide information to prospectivecandidates, maintain contact data, andprovide links to company websites.Creating a profile is the first step tousing TigerJobs.

Posting Jobs or Internships

Job and internship postings are placed free-of-charge in TigerJobs for 30 days unless the employer requests a shorter timeframe. To post in TigerJobs:

• Create a user profile by visiting www.trinity.edu/career and then accessing the TigerJobs employer login

• After creating a user profile, click on “submit”

• All postings are reviewed and approved by a Career Services staff member

Students or graduates may respond directly torecruiters via TigerJobs or the recruiter may specifythat applicants apply through the organization’swebsite, e-mail, telephone, fax, or mail. Recruiterswho prefer to have Career Services post jobs for themcan do so by submitting the information via e-mail.

Requesting a Résumé Referral

Career Services maintains a database of student and graduate résumés in TigerJobs. Recruiters canrequest a résumé referral by contacting CareerServices. Career Services’ referrals are limited to full-time professional positions or internships. Allrequests for résumé referrals require an accompany-ing job posting in TigerJobs. Career Services doesnot notify students that their résumés have beenviewed or forwarded to recruiters, so recruitersshould inform candidates that their résumés wereobtained through Career Services.

Setting Up On-Campus Interviews

Employers may request an interview schedule bylogging in to TigerJobs and accessing the “schedule”section from the pull-down menu. Click on “newschedule request” and fill in the requested informa-tion. An accompanying job posting is required forthe request to be complete. All on-campus interview

schedules are pre-select, meaning students will submitan application and the recruiter will select candidatesto invite for an interview from that applicant pool.After receiving the request for an on-campus inter-view Career Services will contact the recruiter toconfirm a recruitment timeline. The timeline willinclude starting and ending dates for applicationsubmission and résumé referral, pre-select deadline,and the interview sign-up window. Career Serviceswill also coordinate the interview session, dates,times, and duration of interview time slots.Recruiters must select interview candidates throughTigerJobs or by submitting selections to CareerServices. Once pre-selects are made, the interviewschedule is available for candidates to sign-up foran interview time.

Information Tables

During the fall and spring semesters Career Servicescan assist employers in setting up information

tables in the Coates University Center. Tables aregenerally available Monday through Thursdayfrom 10 am until 2 pm. Recruiters may request atable by contacting the Career Services office.

Information Sessions

Many recruiters use information sessions as part of their ongoing campus recruitment. Informationsessions can be set up as part of an on-campusrecruitment schedule or as a way for recruiters toprovide more in-depth information about oppor-tunities. Contact Career Services to request aninformation session.

Career and Graduate School Fairs

Career Services coordinates career and job fairsthrough which recruiters can gain access to a largenumber of students in a short period of time.Information about upcoming career fairs, graduateschool fairs, and non-profit fairs is available on theCareer Services website and through TigerJobs.

Internship Development

Career Services will coordinate contact with academicdepartments to market established internship programs. Recruiters interested in setting-up newinternship programs or reviewing existing programscan contact Career Services for assistance in thedevelopment of their program. Career Services works

with faculty, students, and recruiters to publicizeinternship and utilizes TigerJobs to post positionsand identify prospective applicants.

Presentations to Classes or Student Groups

Recruiters interested in speaking with student organizations, presenting to classes, or meeting withfaculty can contact Career Services for assistance incoordinating contacts. Scheduling presentations isthe sole prerogative of the faculty member or stu-dent organization.

Advertising on Campus

Career Services can assist recruiters in placing advertisements or other information in the studentnewspaper and explore other venues for promotingopportunities.

Sponsorships

Organizations interested in participating in CareerServices programs as a sponsor should contact CareerServices for more information on these opportunities.
