Shredding by toothed roller and comb is ideal for the
most difficult of tasks . Roller teeth, made of durable
steel, rip the material through a shredding comb . the
comb opens automatically (if required) in order to pre-
vent damage by large unshreddable foreign objects .
all consumable parts e .g . knives etc . are quickly and
easily exchangeable .
the DW Series single shaft shredders are exemplary
for their high throughput and coarsely shredded
material . integration of the machines into an overall
plant design is achievable courtesy of their feed and
discharge connections .
the machines are directly driven by ac or Dc motors
with nominal current and low specific power consumption .
By means of individual speed regulation* optimum pro-
cess speeds can be set and realised . the substantial
access panels and doors permit easy and effective
maintenance from outside of the machine . Shredding
tools used in this series of Doppstadt machines
are identical to those used in the mobile series,
therefore keeping the need for spare parts to
a minimum .

the aK and nZ Series grinders reduce materials by
means of flails fitted to a large flail drum . the free
swinging flails, fitted with replaceable grinding tips,
grind material by forcing it against and along a counter
baffle plate at the top of the comminution chamber .
Depending on requirements, the throughput capacity
and material size can be regulated using various
sized mesh outer sieves . Doppstadt grinders are
distinguishable by their free swinging flail holders with
separately replaceable grinding tips and the heavy
gyrating mass of the flail drum revolving at 1000rpm .
• Easy maintenance due to large access panels
on all sides and inbuilt lubrication system .
• Separate drives for the chain driven scraper
conveyor and material feed roller to optimise material
throughput .
• Shredding tools used in this series are identical to
those used in the Doppstadt mobile series, therefore
keeping the need for spare parts to a minimum .

Doppstadt’s DF 307 ROtaRO is an especially efficient,
single shaft secondary shredder for processing derived
fuel products as well as other fine materials . its robust
steel body, yet simple assembly, guarantees long
lifespan and high running smoothness . High rotor mass
also increases energy efficiency in operation, since
torque peaks do not have to be compensated for by
electric drives alone . the shaft is driven by two three-
phase ac motors, power coupled to the rotor by drive
belts .
cutting blades are easily exchanged and can be repeat-
edly reused, which guarantees the shortest downtime
during the knife exchange and therefore, high usability
of the machine . coarseness of the end product can
be selected using interchangeable sieves with different
mesh size .

OPTIMUM PROCESSING
the trommel-screener is able to sieve the most difficult
materials . continuous high throughput is maintained
using load sensing on the material in-feed . these
screening machines are designed as modules and are
able to carry out special functions . Drums can be easily
exchanged to customise and perform various specific
operations . Optional items available include: brush or
scraper based cleaning .
Sm/SSt machines are installed on mounting frames (or
walls) to suit particular project requirements . Doppstadt
trommel-screeners can be used in discharge to bunker
applications or fitted with a conveyor for further line
processes . Sm machines are based on simpler
operation and construction than the SSt range
which have a more solid structural framework .

the DSp 20-5 screw press separates biodegradable
waste by extracting fluid content and turning it into
liquid and solid bi-materials, using a hydro-motor with
planetary gearing . a pressing cone forces the wet
material, at a predetermined pressure, through sieves
which are available in different mesh sizes . Extracted
liquids are suitable as process in-feed for anaerobic
digesters and the separated dry material can be
composted or used as thermal fuel .

Biomass production
We support our clients in their need to manufacture
cO2 neutral fuels . Whether these are made from waste
wood or directly from timber biomass, Doppstadt
provides established and proven machines for shredding,
grinding and the screening out of contaminable
properties .
Composting
Green waste, organic household and kitchen
wastes are generally composted . Doppstadt system
technology enables the grinding down of raw material in
an economical and therefore, cost effective manner by
screening removal of contaminants .
Mechanical biological waste treatment
Doppstadt recycling technology offers viable

pre-processing and classification of various input
