his thread was one of the posts>websites that found while trying to figure out what wascausing the bumps around my eyes. decided to post my story here because this thread showsup 3ery high on google when you search for red bumps around eyes.

n my case+ which may or may not be related to other people's cases+ it too# me about = monthsto figure out what the source of the bumps was. $hat learned along the way was 3eryinterested+ so wanted to share it here. want to say right up front that really feel for anyonegoing through this. t's horrible. only dealt with it for = or so months myself+ but that wasplenty. t was absolutely awful and depressing. big #ind some people get when they are teenagers. f you scratch them or use a blac#headremo3er+ then they brea# open a little bit. he s#in around the eyes is 3ery delicate+ so theybecome inflamed a bit when you do this+ but then heal o3er the ne7t day or so;especially if youare putting a hydrocortisone on them

he other interesting thing to note here is that the red bumps ha3e always had on my thighs;e3er since was a (= or (D< seem to ha3e also magically cleared up. don't #now if maybethat's related to stopping the toothpaste or what+ but can tell you one thing for sure+ 'm ne3ergoing bac# to using anything other than ba#ing soda to brush my teeth ;you 4ust ha3e to becareful+ since it's a little more abrasi3e and can rub your gums raw if you brush too hardor mil# bac# into my diet 4ust tosee if the red bumps suddenly come bac#. First+ the Mupirocin was a bust. t seemed li#e it wanted to wor#+ but ne3er really fully got rid ofthe bumps. t was more li#e it #ept them at bay+ but they seemed to remain under the s#in. t'shard to e7plain e7actly+ but it was sort of li#e the Mupirocin #ept new bumps from de3eloping asrapidly+ but couldn't really clear up the ones that seemed to be deep in the s#in near the folds ofmy eyes ;at the corners

batch of bumps showed up+ so discontinued its use. t's supposed to be 3ery powerful stuff+ butit only sort of wor#ed for the bumps around my eyes and then they came bac#.

had to gi3e up the tea tree oil stuff. t was pretty nasty and read some articles on line that itcan be dangerous to ingest. also tested it on some mold ;or something< that was growing on the

lid to my hot tub. t didn't e3en touch it. Howe3er+ bleach and white 3inegar did #ill the hot tubmold within only a few hours. was sort of surprised the tea tree oil didn't bother the mold ;orwhate3er it was< growing on the hot tub lid. "$+ tried some bleach>white 3inegar on myeyes+ but it didn't seem to ma#e much difference :G%

ha3e continued to use the 5il of 5regano howe3er. t seems li#e when ta#e those pills+ mys#in o3erall has a better appearance and is more clear and healthy loo#ing ;contrary to how itsounds on this thread+ actually ha3e really clear>nice s#in :G

ha3e the same problem. Se3eral little pimples appeared under my left eye after a stressfulnight. 0s ha3e cortisoid+ applied some on them. hey dried up in a day or two. "ut camebac# after another sleepless night in abundance now in both eyes. hey are sore whentouched. 0 dermatologist ad3ised to 4ust wash them with ?ohnson baby shampoo and they willgo away on its own. still ha3e ha3e them. 0nd are now ma#ing my eyes itchy and watery. now ha3e them on my eyelids too.

4ust mo3ed to San 0ntonio 7 from oronto+ 8anada. ne3er had this before. So belie3e got this form of allergy+ here in e7as.

t's been a little o3er a month since my last post abo3e. n that time ha3e had some good luc#and some bad luc#+ but ha3e learned uite a bit.

First+ ha3e narrowed down the root cause of the red bumps around my eyes. t's clearly relatedto a reaction to food ;in my case+ it seems to be mainly anything ha3ing to do with mil#or coffee. ha3en't narrowed it down specifically to one of those+but can tell you definiti3ely that if ha3e something such as ice cream+ cream pie+ coffee ;withmil# in it< or a large amount of sugar ;such as coo#ies+ etc.

Howe3er+ applying cream or addressing this issue from the outside isn't the solution. '3e gonewee#s without an out brea# ;and ha3ing my s#in loo# fantastic< to ha3ing a huge reGoccurrencedue to reGintroducing something li#e coffee ;e.g. 8affe Iattes< bac# into my diet. 5r+ 4ust ha3ingsomething with too much mil# in it can now set it off. his is 3ery frustrating+ because used to

ha3e no problem at all eating as much ice cream as wanted.

body and how important diet is. 0fter reading this boo#+ it seems clear that the solution to mostof these strange bumps that will not go away problems relate more to problems on the insidethan anything else. 0s such+ solutions that address the symptoms ;the bumps< G without reallyaddressing the cause G are probably a bandGaid at best. 0t worst+ they are a frustrating waste oftime ;and if they in3ol3e a doctor who is clueless+ then a waste of money as well

other cases+ the bump is solid and appears more li#e part of my s#in G under the surface G whichhas suddenly turned white and then become inflamed around it. Sometimes it hurts a bit+ butother times not. 0fter brea#ing the s#in open+ there really isn't anything to comeout. Moreo3er+ the bump that you can feel under the s#in ;i.e. the s#in itself< typically remainsfor se3eral days to a wee#+ until it slowly starts to heal. 2ltimately+ a combination of scratching+

sueeCing and brea#ing open the s#in occurs and then it ta#es se3eral wee#s for the red area toheal. 0s it heals+ the swelling and hard bump beings to disappear. should note that this isdifferent than how it used to be. n other words+ the bumps seems to ha3e changed. 0t first+ seem to recall that could easily scratch them away+ lea3ing 4ust a red area that healed fairlyuic#ly. Now+ it's not that easy and it ta#es longer to heal G howe3er+ that could be due to thelocation changing from closer to the corners of my eyes ;where the s#in is more delicate< to outfurther around my chee#s and eyebrow area.

also wanted to add that showering e3ery day before bed does help. t doesn't stop the bumps;since they seem to be due to a reaction to food

'm going to cut out sugar and mil# anddo a yeast cleanse. consider myself pretty healthyGG i eat only organic fruits and 3eggies andmeats+ etc. i a3oid high fructose corn syrup and trans fats... but we do eat out at restaurants oncea wee# or so+ and you can't a3oid all that stuff there. eat a lot of chocolate+ e3en though it'sorganic+ and i also o3erindulge in alcohol at times. Hi am bac# and e7cited to share that thin# found the cuprit to my daughter's eye bumps. Jerberyogurt melts was gi3ing her these e3eryday with meals. $e went on 3acation and didntbring them and by the -nd day+ the bumps were gone. $e figured it was either the yogurt meltsor our dog since he wasnt with us. $hen we got home we continued to not gi3e her the melts and
