Outlook for November
For those of you in search of positive real estate news I am pleased to announce that Redondo Beach
produced rather stimulating data for the month of October. Stats trending positive include total sales,
which inched up 11.3%, the market median sales price, which increased $30K, and the sales/listing ratio
and the months of inventory, both of which improved by double digits. From a year-over-year perspective
similar conclusions are reached, according to the MLS database.
“So what kind of activity do I expect in November?” you ask. Personally, despite the encouraging news it
is fair to say that historically speaking buyer and seller interests typically decline during the holiday
season. Though, since mortgage rates remain extremely low I suspect a soft correction in overall activity
with single digit adjustments to most data indicators. That said, are you in the market to buy or sell? If
