Reduce Your Downtime and Maintenance CostsProtect Your PumpLower Your Operation Costs
Empty tanks, cavitation, and unintended line restrictions can quickly damage or destroyyour pumps, costing you time, money, and possible loss of product. The installation of thePower Load Monitor can provide a simple, cost effective, state of the art way tomonitor and shut down your pump when a change in motor power load is detected.
Simple To SetWith a simple press of a button, the PPPPPooooowwwwwerererererLoad MonitorLoad MonitorLoad MonitorLoad MonitorLoad Monitor can be set to your choice of
either an over-load or an under-load reading. Theunit measures the normal working load, then
calculates and sets an automatic shutdown point fordetected power changes. Load limit margin is adustable
to prevent unintentional stoppage.
Measures Without Sensors Powered by the normal supply voltage of thedrive motor, when the P P P P Pooooowwwwwer Load Monitorer Load Monitorer Load Monitorer Load Monitorer Load Monitorsenses an over power or under power change, the motor is automatically shut down. Themonitor is capable of handling both 50 and60 hertz motors, up to 50 full load amperage, and horsepower to 999 hp.
* The Power Load Monitor should not be used as exclusive protection in case of sudden discharge line blockage on positive displacement pumps. Other means of protection such as a pressure relief valve must be used in conjunction with the Power Load Monitor to avoid pressure spikes in the system.
The PPPPPooooowwwwwer Load Monitorer Load Monitorer Load Monitorer Load Monitorer Load Monitor will protect the pump andsystem from damage caused when dry running or cavi-
tation is occurring as indicated by an underload con-dition. Or it can be set to detect overpressure situ-
ations* as indicated by an overload condition. Thismonitor is well suited for systems using positivedisplacement, centrifugal, or sealless magneticdrive pumps.
