Description of Activities
● Assist in the administration of English language preparatory courses for international students,
● Work with language teachers to prepare lesson plans and activities for the classes,
● Assist teachers in teaching lessons and monitoring student progress
● Assist international students in adjusting to a new environment and culture

Duration 3-9 monthsWorking hours / week 20-30 hours per week.
Accommodation
Accommodation is available in the on-campus student dormitories. Colleagues can assist in finding a flat. Interns are responsible for covering the costs of their accommodation and other living expenses.
Payment or other benefits
Tons of fun in an international enviroment! Interns are expected to apply for ERASMUS internship grants from their home university.
Competencies, Skills and Other Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Currently enrolled in university in a field relating to English, teaching or international relations. Familiarity with EFL/ESL teaching methodology.
Language skillsAdvanced level of English language is required. Knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
Computer skillsFamiliar with Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
Drivers license Not requiredOther Previous international experience is a plus.
