Construct a color wheel
• Use 81/2” x 11” paper to construct a
reference color wheel to keep in your notebook.
1. • Use a protractor to construct a
circle• Mark the following angles:
0˚, 30˚, 60˚, 90˚, 120˚ 150˚, 180˚

• Use a ruler to connect angles: Top 90˚, lower 30˚, & 150˚.You have drawn a triangle within a circle.
3. • Use a ruler to connect angles:
Lower 90˚ , top 30˚ & 150 ˚
You will see a triangle behind a triangle within a circle.

• On the top-most triangle,
use a ruler to draw lines from the
center to
the mid-point
of each side.
