Overall, we are very satisfied with her performance. Natalia’s interpretation hours consist of 105 hours of legal assignments, and 80 hours of medical assignments. MCIS provides interpretation, translation, language testing and training services, and is the official provider of language services for Toronto and South Central Ontario’s Police Service, Domestic Violence Court Programs, and Women’s Shelters. MCIS receives generous grants from the provincial Ministries of Citizenship and Immigration of the Attorney General, Service Canada and the City of Toronto. Interpreters regularly work with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, the homeless, newcomers (including refugees), expecting or new mothers and children.
