WHAT CoCA-CoLA CAn Do for You

Customers place a great deal of importance on the quality of their drinks. If Coca-Cola post-mix (PMX) is

served to a high standard, you should sell more of it.

Soft drinks are driving value in pubs, despite tough times in the on-trade. As one of only two categories

adding growth to the licensed trade1, letting customers know you sell Coca-Cola and serving it to a high

standard will encourage customers to buy more Coca-Cola which will result in higher profits.

Cola is served more than any other drink with food. 80%2 of people prefer soft drinks to alcohol at lunch

time, so getting it right will definitely have an impact. If your customers enjoy their meal, it should push

sales and increase your profits.

Testimonials

T.G.I frIDAY’S

T.G.I Friday’s were existing Georgia Green Glass users but wanted to ensure that they were maximising sales with a consistent perfect serve.

All bar staff were trained on the perfect serve of Coca-Cola in Georgia Green Glasses in regional groups with an assigned ‘master’ per outlet. results:

Sales rose 7% like for like

2009 vs 20103.

rEGIonAL BrEWEr

Regional Brewer has over a 100 managed outlets and a loyal staff base. They all have Georgia Green Glasses as the standard serve across the estate and desired a refresher on the perfect serve. A quality of serve training programme was implemented across all soft drinks to the nominated key staff member of the participating pubs. results:

Feb 2010 - Feb 2011 - sales of

PMX up 6% vs year ago4.

ACCor HoTELS

Accor has 89 hotels and had never focussed on postmix serve before and didn’t use our Georgia Green Glass.

CCE staff trained a key bar staff member from each hotel. results:

PMX sales raised 5%

vs year ago3.

Next steps are to implement the GGG in their estate.

THE ProDuCT

Make sure your Coca-Cola is as fresh as possible. The fresher it is, the more your customers will enjoy it.

Make sure you check the ‘Best Before’ date before serving, as Coca-Cola does have a shelf life.

Constantly rotating your stock means you’ll avoid being left with out of date product, and you’ll know when

you’re running low so you can order more.

The changeover valve means running ouT of coca-cola while serving is a Thing of The pasT, as iT auTomaTically swiTches To The nexT BiB (Bag-in-Box) when one’s empTy.

AND REMEMBER...

Keeping on top of your stock is an easy way of making sure your Coca-Cola is always at its best.

Cleaning your nozzles is an easy

way to make sure your Coca-Cola

tastes exactly as it should. Make

sure you do it every day, and

follow this easy guide:

Soak the nozzle in warm water,

giving it a clean with the brushes

to get rid of any built-up syrup.

Clean valves, either in head or

gun, with warm water and

a brush.

Clean the drip tray in warm water,

and dry with paper towels

before replacing.

Wipe down all surfaces with a

clean, damp cloth, and dry with

paper towels.

Every time you don’t clean your

nozzles, you could be throwing

money away. Make sure you

don’t soak them with lager/stout

nozzles, as the sugar in Coca-Cola

and the lager/stout’s yeast will

encourage bacteria to grow.

If you run out of brushes, call 08705 33 66 99

Follow the cleaning instructions above to ensure an effective clean.

12

SErVInG

To make sure the drink isn’t

contaminated in any way, always

ensure that:

Your hands don’t touch the top

of the glass.

The glass doesn’t touch the nozzle.

The nozzle doesn’t touch the drink.

This simple routine will give you delicious, fresh Coca-Cola every time.

performing These frequenT checks will ensure you’re always serving The exTra-cold, perfecT TasTing coca-cola every Time.

It’s iconic, and it’s what your customers want to see. Serving it with ice

and lemon and in the branded glass is what they can’t get at home from

a can or a bottle. It is also nucleated which keeps the drink fizzier for longer.

This could also be the key to increasing your revenue…

The Georgia Green Glass shows you care about your customers and the

quality of their drinks. This will encourage them to keep coming back,

which can only be a good thing.

We know you care about your customers, but show them how much you

appreciate them by giving them the Perfect Serve.

Large restaurant chains are the masters at this and have a 50-70% take-up rate on

The key to driving sales is to let people know that you serve the UK’s

number 1 soft drink1. Having a Coca-Cola font on the bar, as well as POS

around hotspots like the back of bar and tables, will increase visibility.

So everywhere people turn, they’ll know you’ve got Coca-Cola.

on top of this, 80% of people prefer soft drinks2 to alcohol at lunchtime, so this is a fantastic opportunity to drive your sales by featuring soft drinks on your menus, and offering meal deals to drive footfall.
