Some Evidence from Pakistan’s Tribal Areas Monday, February 29, 2016 Noon v Hester Hall, Room 145 with Dr. Aqil Shah Wick Cary Assistant Professor of South Asian Studies Department of International and Area Studies Dr. Shah is a political scientist and the Wick Cary Assistant Professor of South Asian Studies in the University of Oklahoma’s Department of International and Area Studies. He is also a non-resident scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Dr. Shah has a PhD in Political Science from Columbia University and an MPhil from the University of Oxford where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar. His research includes democratic transitions, military coups and South Asian security issues. CIS is committed to a diverse, equable and inclusive campus environment.
