Regal Cinemas wanted their flagship theater in LA to be the most technologically advanced theater in the industry, and they turned to Panasonic. Starting outside, Panasonic provided attention-grabbingLED video boards across the exterior of the entire facility, visible throughout LA’s downtown. Inside, Panasonic leveraged its deep-solutions background to create a seamless experience for moviegoers once they enter the multi-story lobby. CHALLENGERegal Cinemas wanted their flagship theater in LA to be the most technologically advanced theater in the industry, and they turned to Panasonic. Starting outside, Panasonic provided attention-grabbing LED video boards across the exterior of the entire facility, visible throughout LA’s downtown. Inside, Panasonic leveraged its deep-solutions background to create a seamless experience for moviegoers once they enter the multi-story lobby. The most visually striking elements in the lobby are the two 103" HD plasma displays that provide larger-than-life movie promotions in crystal-clear HD.
An integrated Panasonic Point-of-Sale (POS) system including digital menu boards using Panasonic display technology provides concession-goers with a clear and dynamic ordering experience to get them back in their seat to watch the movie. In addition, Panasonic provided an indoor and outdoor CCTV and intrusion alarm system for the theater to secure the high-end digital media assets.
