Developing leadership and teamworkWe go beyond just language learning and help students to develop skills of independence, team working and leadership, decision making and in presenting. We place each student in an international team, which encourages a sense of belonging and creates a safe and welcoming environment. Students win Regent Lion points for their team for exemplary behaviour and successful activities, which creates competition within a positive atmosphere and boosts their confidence to join in and express themselves. In our Team-Lead sessions we run lively team building activities and reflect on leadership and team work.

Belonging to our communityThe morning assembly is a lively, energetic start to the day in which students learn and engage with staff and others. At mealtimes our staff join the students in their teams. In the evenings we arrange lively activities like Talent and Fashion Shows, Murder Mysteries and Casino Nights.

Confidence in performingThe performance project challenges students to question the world around them and to discuss, compare and evaluate what they discover. They follow a weekly performance project in their teams which culminates in making a film, drama, debate or presentation in which they showcase their learning.

Releasing energy and talentAll students have an activity session filled with a variety of sports or other activities. We offer swimming, water-polo, netball, yoga, volleyball, badminton, rugby, football, basketball, dance, nature walks, cooking, henna, craft, art, clay modelling and more.

Cambridge

Cambridge is perhaps most famous for its world-class university but it has much more than this to offer its visitors. The local Fitzwilliam museum has a wealth of interesting art and artefacts on display, plus there is a lot to explore and discover in the local countryside.

Oxford

Oxford is a historic city with a unique and interesting history for visitors to explore. The city is famous for its prestigious university and beautiful buildings, including the Radcliffe Camera, Bridge of Sighs and Christ Church College to name just a few. Oxford also has a strong literary tradition, inspiring authors such as C.S. Lewis, Lewis Carroll and J.R.R. Tolkien.

London

The capital city of England has been long regarded as one of the best cities in the world. London is home to the Queen, the Houses of Parliament and some of the best tourist attractions on the world. With over 30 million visitors a year, this city has something for everyone to enjoy. We ensure students get to experience some of the diversity and local opportunities as well as the usual tourist attractions.

Stratford-Upon-Avon

This market town was built in 1196 on a medieval grid system and has many historical and cultural treasures. In the 16th century the town was home to England’s best known playwright William Shakespeare. Today his place of birth is world-famous.

Every course at Regent Stowe offers one full day and one half day excursion per week to exciting and educational destinations across the UK. Among others, we offer excursions to Oxford, Cambridge, London and Stratford-Upon-Avon. We prepare students in advance with observation tasks or photo challenges.
