A Note from the State PresidentJamal Edwards

I am both excited and elated for your presence at our state confer-ence. I guarantee it will be an experience you will find unforgettable. Throughout your journey at the CASL State Conference I encourage you to push beyond your comfort zone to: network, challenge other leaders, and begin the legacy you want to leave on your campus. Today marks the beginning of our efforts as leaders to impact our communities and inspire others to make a positive difference. It has been an incredible honor serving as this year’s State President, and this year of hard work will now culminate into our three-day adventure. Thank you for representing your school, communitie, and families in your attendance. Let the exploration of leadership commence, as our legacies begin NOW!

Welcome

A Note from the DirectorSandra Kurland

It is my hope you leave the conference with the belief you truly can leave a legacy on your campus with your attitude, guidance and actions; under-standing leadership is about serving others. We are gathered together here to learn from one another, to benefit as leaders for our schools and although each one of us is uniquely different in background, interests and persona, we all share a passion to lead. Your schools are lucky to have you, as we know the campus would look very different without you, the student leaders. I applaud and thank each one of you for all that you do. Special thanks to the entire CASL Board for their hard work and enthusiasm which inspires me to keep striving for excellence.
