Team Summer day out! Nicolas Tye Architects had a day out in Kings Cross London over thesummer! We had lunch out and explored the area surrounding St PancrasKings Cross station. This included Regent's Canal, Granary Square, TheFilling Station and even a little walk to one of our projects!(Look down to the right for more photos's from our trip!)
Berkhamstead house, Hertfordshire
Located in an area of good size plots with 250-500m2 housing stock ourclients sought not size but quality. In depth briefing analysis and the clientclear intent to work together to design a new style of house which wouldbe enjoyable, unique and worthy life time living was central to theirrequirements.

Stockgrove farm, buckinghamshire Nestled close to a wood and glade near the Greensand Ridge withinrolling countryside just outside Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire and theStockgrove country estate, sits a site high on the hill with far reachingviews which had a rather nondescript red brick bungalow and some smallequestrian outbuildings.

Hulcote house, Bedfordshire
Nicolas Tye Architects are responsible for getting planning permission forHulcote house which is in fact a Paragraph 55 house! It’s a self-buildproject and is approx 1,000m2 in size. Hulcote is currently being built andis due for completion in Spring 2015!
