August 23, 2019 – PDEA RO III conducted Team Building at Aplaya Sol y Mar Beach Resort at Brgy. Mabayo, Morong, Bataan.

1. AURORA PROVINCIAL OFFICE

August 6, 2019 – PDEA Aurora Provincial Office represented by IO 1 Esther M Magwa and IO 1 Raymond G Refuerzo conducted lecture to Senior High School Students of Lual National High School on some salient provisions of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the ill effects of illegal drugs. The team also distributed PDEA Comic books with the participation of PCR, Casiguran Police Station.







August 9, 2019 – PDEA Aurora Provincial Office led by IA 3 Juancho L Esteban made a courtesy visit to the new Police Provincial Director, PCol Engelbert Z Soriano at his office, APPO Baler, Aurora.

August 23, 2019 – PDEA Aurora Provincial Office represented by IO 1 Esther M Magwa attended the validation on Unified Watchlist held at Camp Captain Victor S. Ravina, Sabang, Aurora.

August 27, 2019 – PDEA Aurora Provincial Office together with the members of PDC, PPOC, PADAC Secretariat and focal person attended the joint PDC, PPOC, and PADAC had a pecial meeting held at the Governor’s Conference Room, Provincial Capitol, Baler, Aurora. Discussed and presented were the roles of NGAs and LGUs in the implementation of EO No. 70, s. 2018.







2. BATAAN PROVINCIAL OFFICE

August 2, 2019 – PDEA Bataan Provincial Office led by IO 1 Camilo A Bascuguin Jr together with Chief PDEU PCapt. Phoe G Pangan Jr, Intelligence Unit and BDCP Officers from the 12 MPS conducted Intel Workshop and Validation regarding the updated Provincial Unified Watch List of Bataan Province as of July 31, 2019 held at Bataan PPO Conference Room, Camp Cirilo Tolentino, Balanga City.

August 6, 2019 – PDEA Bataan Provincial Office led by IA 3 Marlou M Ordoña together with all COPs and Barangay Captains of Orion attended regular PNP Weekly Provincial Oversight Committee Meeting held at PMJ Hotel and Restaurant Orion, Bataan.

August 15, 2019 – PDEA Bataan Provincial Office represented by IO 1 Joe Patrick Lingan served as Resource Speaker during the Training and Awareness Rising for Barangay Peacemaking Action Team (BPAT) and Barangay Tanods of Balanga City conducted lecture regarding Barangay Drug Clearing Operations to the members of Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) and BPAT of the eight (8) barangays of Balanga City Bataan held at Crown Royal Hotel, Balanga City, Bataan.







August 19, 2019 – PDEA Bataan Provincial Office led by IO 1 Camilo A Bascuguin Jr together with DPDO LtCol Ricardo Santiago, Jr; Chief PIB Maj Joey Sampanga; Chief PDEU PCapt Phoe G Pangan Jr; and Intelligence Unit from twelve (12) MPS conducted Intel Workshop and Validation regarding the updated Provincial Unified Watchlist of the said province as of August 15, 2019 held at Bataan PPO Conference Room, Camp Cirilo Tolentino, Balanga City, Bataan.

August 20, 2019 – PDEA Bataan Provincial Office attended regular PNP Weekly Provincial Oversight Committee Meeting together with Samal Mayor Hon. Aida DG Macalinao, PNP Bataan Provincial Director PCol Villamor Tuliao; DPDA; DPDO; C,PIB; C,PDEU; COPS and Barangay Captains of Samal held at Samal Skills Enhancement Trainings Center, Samal, Bataan.

August 20, 2019 – PDEA Bataan Provincial Office led by IA 3 Marlou Ordona together with Hon. Mayor Castaneda, LGOO V Merador Diaz, Prof. Rowena Crsitina Dela Cruz, National Validators and twenty-five (25) DILG Officers attended SGLG Validation held at the Conference Room of Mariveles, Bataan.







3. BULACAN PROVINCIAL OFFICE

August 8, 2019 – PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office led by IO 2 Jose Alfonso Morados attended the Joint Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) meeting at Balagtas Hall, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center, Malolos City, Bulacan. This office presented the status and updates regarding the Barangay Drug Clearing of the province of Bulacan.

August 19, 2019 – PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office headed by IA 1 Christopher S Macairap together with all PNP Bulacan Intel Officers attended Intelligence Workshop reharding Updating/Validating of PDEA/PNP Unified Watchlist in the Province of Bulacan held at Camp Alejo Santos Conference Room, Malolos City, Bulacan.

August 3, 2019 – PDEA Nueva Ecija Provincial Office conducted drug awareness lecture among the Grade 7 and 8 in Balite Integrated School, Brgy. Balite, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

August 2, 2019 – PDEA Tarlac Provincial Office led by IO 2 Jose Marie P Palubon attended Intel Workshop Validation at Camp. Macabulos, Brgy. San Vicente, Tarlac City, Tarlac.

- PDEA Tarlac Provincial Office conducted consultation meeting with PSMS Rachel R Arceo, CAD PNCO and PCPL Winnie B Patricio, Assistant PCR of Concepcion PS together with the five (5) Barangay Secretaries of Concepcion, Tarlac.

August 15, 2019 – PDEA Tarlac Provincial Office attended the 6th Provincial Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (PLECC) meeting.







- PDEA Tarlac Provincial Office had a courtesy call with JSINP Lito M Florentino, newly assigned Warden of BJMP Paniqui Municipal Jail, Paniqui, Tarlac.

August 16, 2019 – PDEA Tarlac Provincial Office together with IO V Louie Lagasca, PDEA RO III PECI Officer attended and served as the guest lecturer during the Balay Silangan Orientation held at SB Hall, Pura, Tarlac which was also attended by the BADAC members, representatives from DepEd, Pura LGU personnel, BFP personnel and Pura Municipal Police Station personnel.

August 19, 2019 – PDEA Tarlac Provincial Office had a firearm familiarization at Tarlac Police Provincial Office, Camp Macabulos, Tarlac City, Tarlac.







- PDEA Tarlac Provincial Office awarded the Barangay Drug Cleared Certificate and distributed Drug Prevention Comics at the Mayor’s Office, Brgy. Poblacion, Anao, Tarlac.

August 19, 2019 – PDEA Tarlac Provincial Office conducted Intel Workshop and Validation on Unified Suspected Drug Personality Watchlist in Tarlac held at PD Conference Room, Camp Macabulos, Tarlac City, Tarlac.

August 20, 2019 – PDEA Tarlac Provincial Office attended 2nd Quarter Meeting of the Joint Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC).

August 27-29, 2019 – PDEA Zambales PO attended POPS Planning at Vista

Marina Resort Subic Zambales. PDEA Zambales PO was invited to elaborate EO #15

series 2017 (ICAD) and DDB BR #3 series of 2016 (BDCP) as basis of the council for their

programs in POPS Plan. Attendees are Municipal POC and Provincial POC.







August 28, 2019 – PDEA Zambales PO attended second and final reading of the

ordinance creating Olongapo city drugs dangerous drugs administrative board at Olongapo

City Session Hall.

8. ANGELES CITY OFFICE

August 5, 2019 – PDEA Angeles City Office led by IO 2 Al Martin G Pallada

attended the Review and Evaluation of Barangay Balibago Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) Mid-Year Operational Accomplishment Report on Anti-Illegal Drug Campaign held at Balibago Function Hall, Balibago, Angeles City.







August 15, 2019 – PDEA Angeles City led by IO 2 Al Martin Pallada attended meeting together with Angeles City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ACADAC) and Brgy. Balibago Punong barangay PB Rodelio H. Mamac held at Brgy. Balibago Punong Barangay Office, Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga.

August 19, 2019 – PDEA Angeles City Office led by IO 2 Roy H Castillo together with PIO Mr. Glenn Guillermo attended meeting re Committee Hearing of the Committee on Public Health chaired by Hon. Joseph Alfie T. Bonifacio and Committee on Laws chaired by Hon. Arvie M. Suller held at Legislative Building, City Hall, Pulung Maragul, Angeles City

August 20, 2019 – PDEA Angeles City Office led by IO 2 Roy H Castillo attended Validation of Unified Watchlist and signing of resolution with OIC of ACPOCIB, PMaj. Daryl O Gonzales held at Angeles City Police Office.







9. SBMA-SIU

August 7, 2019 – PDEA SBMA-SIU led by IA 1 Marlon A Manwi-it, PDEA Clark K9 Unit together with Bureau of Customs conducted K9 Sweeping in New Container Terminal SBMA which contain Medical PVC Compound Plastics for medical purposes. No illegal drugs and contrabands confiscated.

August 20, 2019 – PDEA SBMA-SIU together with Bureau of Customs conducted K9 sweeping of ten (10) containers suspected containing contrabands in New Container Terminal (NCT), SBMA. It was found out that these were sacks of refinery sugar from Korea and no illegal drugs and contrabands confiscated.







10. CLARK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT INTER-AGENCY DRUG INTERDICTION TASK GROUP (CRK-IADITG)

August 4, and 7, 2019 – Operatives of CRK-IADITG conducted K9 Airport Interdiction at United Parcel Service (UPS).

August 24, 2019 – Operatives of CRK-IADITG conducted K9 Sweeping and Event Monitoring during the Oddisee Music and Arts Festival at Filinvest Mimosa, Clark, Pampanga.

BATAAN-SIU

August 16, 2019 – PDEA Bataan SIU and PDEA SES K9 Unit together with PCG and PNP Maritime Group conducted profiling, visibility and K9 paneling at Port Capinpin, Orion, Bataan with 62 departing passengers from Orion to Manila. No illegal drugs and contrabands confiscated.

August 23, 2019 – PDEA Bataan SIU and PDEA SES K9 Unit together with PPA and PCG conducted profiling, visibility and K9 paneling at Port Capinpin, Orion Bataan. No illegal drugs and contrabands confiscated.

PREVENTIVE EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT (PECI) ACTIVITIES

(August 2019)

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency as the premier agency in the anti-drug campaign launches the first ever PDEA Drug Abuse Prevention Comics which aims to create massive awareness on the dreadful effects of dangerous drugs.

The PDEA Comics is part of the agency’s Preventive Education Programs which is meant to educate all sectors of society and give them better understanding on the various initiatives and programs of the government on its war against the social menace.

In response to the agency’s desire to proliferate awareness in consonance to the celebration of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking this July 2019, this Regional Office held series of activities for the distribution of the said IEC material.
