MEETINGS AND CONSULTATION WORKSHOPS

STAKE HOLDER’S CONSULTATION WORKSHOPS

Stakeholder's consultation workshops at four districts i.e., Hyderabad, Adilabad, Khammam and

Mahabubnagar (as these districts are mostly affected due to climate change such as urban population

growth, forest depletion, mining area and drought prone etc.) were undertaken involving Government Line

Departments, Universities, Institutions, Industries, NGOs etc. The meeting focuses on methodology for

preparing the SoER report, timelines for various activities to be carried out for preparing the report,

structure of the SoE Report for Telangana, contribution of data from the Line Departments, suggestions and

recommendations.

The first Steering Committee meeting was held at Office of the Chief Secretary T.S.Secretariat, Hyderabad

on 28.12.2015 at 3.00PM on structuring of the contents of State of Environment Report of Telangana,

2015.

The Technical Persons (Resource Persons) meeting was held at EPTRI, Hyderabad, on 13.01.2016 at

11.30 AM on finalisaton of the contents of the chapter.
