TimeCommitment forEachCertificateThe theoretical component of this qualificationwill require a time commitment of 6 months ofstudy per course. The theoretical component is complimented with 24 months practicalexperienceintherespectiveareaofstudywhichwill lead to the achievement of the NationalTechnicalDiploma.
Each N4, N5, N6 certificate requires 30 hoursattendance online. There are 4 subjects; thusmeaningthatyourequire120hoursattendanceonline.Inaddition,youneedtoplanfor60hoursself-study for each certificate (or 15 hours persubject).Thisrequiresyoutodedicateatleast7to 10 hours per week in total to achievingsuccess.
You will attend 4 tutorial sessions per weekonline each of 1.5 hours length at your choiceduringworkinghoursorintheeveningafter6pm,studying two (2) subjects per trimester. In addition, you are required to spend another 3 hours on assignments (mainly problem-solving),labsandself-study.
You will be required to attend at least 80% ofthesetutorialsessions(fromanylocationaslongasyouhaveanInternetconnection).
