Manipal School was facing these key challenges:

1. 6th Class science teacher (Ramanayajulu M) is the one of the best and most experienced in city. He was facing the challenge of being unable to sit with each student in order to customize their learning due to varied learning curves.

2. Despite recruiting the best teachers, the class average was still low as 53% of the students were scoring below the expectations.

3. Parents started buying the B-C products in the market or paid tuition for their children. But things got complicated quickly since these are two parallel paths for the students. Both the teachers and parents were confused on how to increase the understanding levels of the students.

As a pilot run, we have launched the OAKS learning program in class 6th for about 33 students of science subject. The science teacher has started using the OAKS to solve all his key challenges.

1. To deliver customize learning he assigns the topics to the students and each student view the videos aligned to that topic and attempt a practice test. The result of practice test helps the teacher to evaluate the focus area.

2. OAKS provide the provision to create test and after students attempted the test it gives us the score and create the class wise report for the teacher. With this, it helps teacher to save lots of time and focus on the learning outcomes.

After using OAKS 80% of the students in class 6th have shown growth. As teachers get more time to spend with the future learners the average score has gone up by 18.3%.

Apart from this OAKS made positive impact on the learning behaviour and increase the concentration level of the students.
