Fusion and MLXchange/Tempo5 Release Notes for Versions 5.14.00 to 5.14.05

1  Feature  may  not  be  available  for  all  users.                                                            Page  11  of  14

Issues  With  Workaround  /  Explanation

ID   Product   Feature   Description  B-‐126743   Fusion   Add/Edit   Unable  to  upload  images  from  DropBox.  Attempts  result  in  “File  type  not  identified”  message.

Explanation:  Fusion  can  upload  images  stored  in  Cloud  services  such  as  DropBox  but  it  requires  the  user  to  use  the  Direct  Link  URL  to  the  image  location,  and  not  the  Public  Shared  Link  URL.  If  you  attempt  to  upload  an  image  from  DropBox  image  using  the  Public  Shared  Link  URL,  Fusion  will  display  the  error  “File  type  not  identified.”  because  this  URL  is  not  a  path  to  an  image  but  rather  a  URL  to  a  webpage  that  contains  the  image.      Workaround:  Enter  direct  link  to  the  image  for  upload  to  occur.  For  example,  the  Public  Shared  Link  URL:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/fst0e0zzffemy37/2010-‐12-‐27%2006.39.21.jpg    needs  to  change  to  https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/fst0e0zzffemy37/2010-‐12-‐27%2006.39.21.jpg  to  get  the  Direct  Link  to  the  image.  Using  this  Direct  Link  URL  within  Fusion’s  Upload  Image  screen  allows  the  image  to  upload.  The  “www.dropbox.com”  portion  of  the  URL  needs  to  be  changed  to  “dl.dropboxusercontent.com”  in  order  to  upload  directly  from  the  Cloud.    Similarly,  for  Google  Drive,  a  direct  link  to  an  image  should  be  used.  For  Google  Drive,  it  is  not  as  simple  changing  the  URL  like  done  with  Dropbox.  Rather,  a  direct  link  needs  to  be  generated  using  a  tool  like  https://sites.google.com/site/gdocs2direct/.    For  other  cloud-‐based  storage  services,  there  are  different  ways  to  get  the  Direct  URLs.  The  key  is  having  the  direct  links  for  uploading  to  Fusion  –  not  the  shared  URLs  to  a  web  page  displaying  the  image.

D-‐18379  58976

Fusion   CMA    “ERROR  -‐  An  error  occurred  saving  the  search”  received  when  modifying  using  an  existing  save  search  to  start  a  Fusion  CMA.      Explanation:  This  error  occurred  with  a  specific  search  and  in  a  specific  account  –  and  even  only  in  that  account’s  production  environment.  Unable  to  reproduce  issue  in  QA  environments,  including  account-‐specific  copy.  Suspect  that  criteria  for  the  particular  search  got  corrupted.  No  repeatable  or  recurring  reports  of  this  issue  since  that  time  supports  that  suspicion.

Fusion  MLXchange  Tempo5

Contact  Web  Pages

Intermittently  property  reports  on  the  Contact  Website  are  only  partially  displayed.    Limited  to  isolated  instances  where  Chrome  and  Safari  attempt  to  present  multi-‐page  report  and  content  continues  beyond  first  page.    Workaround:  Use  single-‐page  report  format.

D-‐13390

Fusion  MLXchange  Tempo

Email   If  the  emailed  report  is  emailed  from  MLXchange/  Tempo  and  viewed  by  an  agent  while  logged  into  Fusion,  the  sensitive  data  fields  will  remain  hidden  because  the  report  URL  domain  does  not  match  the  Fusion  URL  domain.  In  order  for  the  sensitive  data  fields  to  be  visible  the  user  would  have  to  be  logged  into  MLXchange  or  Tempo.      Explanation:  Emailed  reports  containing  “sensitive”  data  fields  are  hidden  when  viewed  by  non-‐authenticated  users  is  expected  behavior.

D-‐13865

Fusion   Email   Google  Chrome  has  a  new  feature  that  allows  users  to  redirect  mailto:  hyperlinks  to  Gmail.  When  a  user  clicks  an  email  hyperlink  in  listing  details,  Gmail  opens  in  the  same  browser  window  as  Fusion.  The  problem  occurs  when  clicking  the  Back  button  and  the  user  is  on  the  Fusion  Home  page  instead  of  the  listing  detail  page.      Workaround:  This  Gmail  feature  can  be  disabled  –  follow  instructions  at  this  link:  http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1382847

D-‐25246  60492

Fusion  MLXchange  Tempo

Email   Contact  will  receiving  3  emails  for  each  automated  prospecting  email  if  the  agents  Pager  Email  Address  is  invalid  format.      Workaround:  Correct  or  remove  Pager  Email.

Email   When  editing  Email  Templates  a  popup  message  may  appear  when  trying  to  Copy/Paste:  “Do  you  want  to  allow  this  webpage  to  access  your  clipboard?”      Workaround:  This  prompt  can  be  disabled  by  configuring  settings  in  IE  using  these  steps;  1.  Go  to  Tools-‐-‐>Internet  Options,  then  click  the  Security  tab  2.  Click  on  the  Custom  Level  button  and  scroll  down  to  Scripting  section  3.  Select  the  option  is  "Allow  programmatic  clipboard  access."  4.    Save  settings,  then  restart  browser.

n/a   Fusion   General   Users  that  have  installed  ‘developer  debugging’  versions  of  their  browsers  may  see  debug  alerts  intended  for  developers  as  they  use  the  application.      Workaround:  Debug  window  is  not  needed  to  perform  any  Fusion  operations.  If  user  for  some  reason  desires  to  keep  the  debugger  on,  can  close  or  minimize  report  window  without  affecting  Fusion.

IDX  Map  Search

Issue  with  the  IDX  Map  Search  when  it's  iframed  into  an  agents  custom  website  and  when  the  end  user  is  using  IE10  or  IE11.  The  IDX  Map  Search  displays  error  message  "Error  occurred  in  IDX  mapping  page  “will  not  return  any  results.    Workaround:  The  custom  website  should  force  Compatibility  Mode  by  adding  <metahttp-‐equiv="X-‐UA-‐Compatible"content="IE=EmulateIE8"/>  to  the  website  that  has  the  Contact  Website  URL  iFramed.  (This  is  outside  of  CoreLogic’s  control.)

D-‐16685   MLXchange  Tempo5

Login   Users  that  have  installed  various  browser  ad-‐ons  that  attempt  to  insert  JavaScript  (JS)  may  experience  a  System  Reset  Error  when  they  login  to  MLXchange  and  Tempo5.      Workaround:  The  ad-‐ons  are  malware  and  should  be  disabled  or  uninstalled  to  resolve  this  issue.  Additionally,  to  facilitate,  CoreLogic  created  a  blacklist  of  known  malware  ad-‐ons  and  the  application  will  warn  user  of  the  issue  and  possible  resolution  at  login.

D-‐16780  58336

Fusion   Login   Login  Page  not  defaulting  to  Password  in  Safari    Explanation:  Flash/FLEX  limitation  within  some  browser  types.  CoreLogic  has  made  refinements  to  the  logon  page  such  that  the  cursor  defaults  to  the  Password  box  in  IE  and  Chrome.  Also  so  the  cursor  will  default  to  Password  box  when  user  is  logging  back  into  Fusion  from  the  same  browser  session.  (User  has  not  closed  out  their  browser  after  closing  out  of  Fusion.)      There  is  a  related  aspect  with  the  computer  being  able  to  submit  the  credentials  by  having  the  user  click  the  enter  key  while  the  cursor  is  in  the  Password  box.  Again,  this  works  with  some  browsers  on  the  first  Fusion  session  and  works  when  the  user  is  logging  back  into  Fusion  within  the  same  browser  session.      Workaround:  Hit  the  tab  key  once.  (This  moves  the  cursor  forward.)

D-‐16882  58390

Fusion   Message  of  the  Day

Message  of  the  Day  text  in  some  cases  exceed  the  width  of  the  message  window  causing  the  text  and  scroll  bar  to  appear  outside  the  MOTD  window.      Workaround:  Make  sure  browser  zoom  level  is  not  greater  than  100%.

D-‐10969  D-‐13841

Fusion   Printing   Leaving  the  Firefox  print  dialog  open  for  45  seconds  without  clicking  the  Print  button  -‐  the  Flash  player  will  crash  and  you  will  need  to  restart  Fusion.    Related  issue,  Flash  Player  crashes  when  clicking  "Properties"  button  multiple  times  in  Firefox’s  Print  dialog  or  also  clicking  outside  the  Printer  Properties  dialog  box.      Workaround:  Firefox  has  a  process  called  Plugin-‐container.exe  which  loads  plugins  like  Flash,  Silverlight,  and  QuickTime.  Follow  the  steps  below  to  change  the  related  Firefox  settings.

1. Open  Firefox  2. In  the  address  bar,  enter:  about:config  3. If  prompted,  click  the  button:  I'll  be  careful,  I  promise!  4. In  the  Search  field  at  the  top  of  the  page,  type:    dom.ipc.plugins.enabled  5. Double-‐click  on  this  item  –  this  will  change  its  setting  from  true  to  false.  6. Close  Firefox  and  restart  it.

Fusion   Printing   Using  Fusion  on  Firefox  19  on  Windows  7  –  printing  multiple  copies  is  not  working.  Only  1  page  will  print  regardless  of  how  many  pages  are  entered/set  within  the  print  dialog.      Explanation:  Known  bug  with  FireFox.  Issue  mitigated  with  increased  use  of  Adobe  PDF  for  reports.

D-‐22703

Fusion   Printing   Unable  to  print  Quick  CMA  in  Fusion  when  using  the  Firefox  web  browser  due  to  issue  with  Firefox’s  PDF  handling.    Workaround:    Change  the  default  PDF  handling  behavior  in  Firefox

Action.    It  will  become  a  pull-‐down.    Select  ‘Adobe  Reader’  from  the  list.  4. Click  OK  at  the  bottom  of  the  Options  dialog  5. Restart  Firefox

D-‐12695   Fusion   Printing   Printing  to  a  network  printer  may  not  print  when  using  Chrome.        Explanation:  Google  acknowledges  this  is  a  known  issue  and  is  not  limited  to  CoreLogic  products.    Workaround:  No  known  resolution  other  than  using  a  different  browser.

D-‐27425   Fusion   Printing   In  Windows  8/8.1  with  IE  10/11  and  user  does  not  have  Adobe  Reader  installed,  if  you  try  to  Print  via  PDF  you  get  the  following  prompt:  “Do  you  want  to  open  or  save  <report  name>  from  <site>”.  If  you  click  Open,  or  if  you  Save  the  file  and  then  try  to  open  it,  you  cannot  do  so.  No  application  is  associated  to  this  file  and  even  if  you  try  to  open  it  with  the  built-‐in  “Reader”  it  will  fail.    Workaround:  Install  the  Adobe  PDF  Reader

D-‐23399  60148

IP   Report  Editor

Report  Manager  is  not  acknowledging  the  SmartLinks  Access  Menu  Exclusion  (ex.,  GeoJet).  Links  are  available  in  the  Report  Manager  Hyperlink  selection  under  SmartLinks,  even  when  all  access  levels  have  been  disabled  for  the  s  SmartLink.    Workaround:  Delete  the  SmartLinks  not  being  used.

B-‐110256  60519

Fusion   Reports   Clicking  on  a  Sell  Price  field  in  a  report  view  does  not  launch  Mortgage  Calculator      Explanation:  Mortgage  Calculator  designed  to  work  only  with  List  Price  (as  applicable  use  case).

D-‐07259

Fusion   Reports   Clicking  on  an  email  link  in  a  report  can  cause  the  current  browser  tab  that  Fusion  change  to  a  blank  page.      Workaround:  Check  Enable  Protected  Mode  for  the  Internet  Zone  in  the  browser’s  Internet  Options.    If  the  Fusion  site  is  listed  in  Trusted  Sites,  then  Enable  Protected  Mode  also  needs  to  be  checked  for  Trusted  Sites.

D-‐22756  60056      D-‐16741  58322

Fusion   Reports   Searching  XROPO,  the  “COM  Realtor  Full”  report  view  displays  acres  rounded  to  full  number,  whereas  searching  COM  prop  type,  the  same  report  (and  same  listing)  displays  the  field  value  not  rounded.  It  display  '0.6700'    instead  of  ‘1’.    Reports  in  Fusion  are  following  the  display  format  set  in  the  Results  grid  for  Date  fields  instead  of  the  display  format  defined  in  the  report  if  the  Date  field  is  contained  in  the  results  grid.    Explanation:  For  sake  of  consistency  and  performance,  data  values  that  appear  in  report  views  uses  the  same  formatting  as  is  set  in  the  results  grid  for  that  particular  user.  This  behavior  of  having  the  results  grid  formatting  drive  report  view  formatting  is  present  just  while  inside  of  Fusion.  Emailed  report  views  received  by  other  users  and  by  consumers  who  are  not  Fusion  users  view  data  formatting  as  defined  within  the  report  view.      Workaround:  If  a  data  value  appears  on  a  report  view  formatted  differently  than  desired  or  specified  in  the  report’s  design,  simply  remove  that  field  from  the  results  grid  or  format  the  field  to  display  in  the  grid  as  desired.  (Both  operations  can  be  performed  via  the  Grid  Manager.)

Fusion and MLXchange/Tempo5 Release Notes for Versions 5.14.00 to 5.14.05

1  Feature  may  not  be  available  for  all  users.                                                            Page  14  of  14

D-‐16957   Fusion   Reports   Discrepancy  in  order  of  History  Report  between  Fusion  and  IP.    The  discrepancy  is  that  when  sorting  the  records  by  Change  Date,  the  report  in  IP  is  sorting  by  the  actual  change  date  timestamp  (including  the  time),  while  the  report  in  Fusion  is  sorting  only  by  the  date  value.    Solution:  In  order  for  History  Report  sorting  to  recognize  multiple  changes  performed  on  the  same  date,  the  report  sort  must  be  set  to  include  both  New/Change  Date  and  PAR  Sequence  Number.  Confirmed  that  when  this  sorting  is  established,  presentation  is  consistent  between  Fusion  and  MLXchange/Tempo.

Fusion  MLXchange  Tempo

Reports   On  a  Windows  PC  using  Safari,  Chrome  or  Firefox  when  viewing  an  emailed  listing  with  multiple  images,  clicking  the  image  button  does  not  advance  image  to  next  image.    Does  not  affect  Internet  Explorer.    Workaround:  Go  into  Report  Writer  for  the  specific  report  and  make  sure  Image  Frame  is  set  to  “On  Top”  using  the  Bring  Forward  buttons.

D-‐12945  56589

Fusion   Saved  Searches

Unable  to  create  Personal  Saved  Searches  -‐  always  become  Template    Explanation:  The  nomenclature  and  behavior  for  saving  searches  differs  between  Fusion  and  MLXchange  and  Tempo.  Fusion  supports  saving  personal  saved  searches.  Some  differences  can  exist  for  pulling  up  saved  searches  between  the  different  applications,  but  criteria  and  existence  of  a  search  stays  the  same.

B-‐43919  56867

Fusion   Search  Criteria

Multi-‐Search  criteria  option  not  supported    Explanation:  MLXchange  and  Tempo  include  a  feature  whereby  one  search  criteria  field  can  have  levels  of  Boolean  logic  applied  for  multiple  system  fields.  For  example,  Area  and  Subdivision  combined.  In  Fusion,  this  feature  is  limited  to  being  present  only  in  the  Multiple  Address  search  field.  Fusion  does  not  include  the  “multi-‐search  criteria”  because  of  the  relatively  low  demand  (simply  not  implemented)  and  low  usage  of  this  type  search  field  within  MLXchange  and  Tempo  sites.      Separate  but  related,  Fusion  fully  supports  the  Child  Value  Constraint  business  rules  that  can  be  set  up  to  have  pick  lists  dynamically  change  based  on  criteria  entered  by  the  user.

B-‐66617  57200

Fusion   Searching  &  Reports

Search  &  Report  default  setting  missing  some  options  (ex.,  Full  Public  View,  Prospect  Notification  View,  Photo  Report  and  CMA  views)    Explanation:  Additional  options,  such  as  Full  Public  View,  have  been  added  to  Fusion’s  Search  &  Report  Defaults  (under  Tools  menu)  since  ticket  originally  entered.  Other  options,  such  as  Prospect  Notification  default  is  set  in  the  consolidated  Auto-‐Notification  Defaults  dialog.  CMA  reports  are  selected  as  defaults  via  Fusion’s  CMA  Presentation  Library.

E-‐03531   Fusion   Searching  &  Reports

Ability  to  display  multiple  records  in  multi-‐column/row  reports  in  Fusion  details  screen.    Explanation:  Fusion  isn’t  capable  of  displaying  multiple  records  in  reports  on  the  Details  screen.    Workaround:    Use  the  Print  Preview  option  to  display  all  records.

n/a   Fusion  MLXchange  Tempo

SmartLinks   Links  to  3rd  party  sites,  including  Realist,  may  be  blocked  by  Popup  Blockers.      Workaround:  Users  should  adjust  popup  blocker  permissions  to  permit  access  to  desired  sites.

n/a   Fusion   Statistics  Pro

If  the  user  gets  an  Inactivity  Time  Out  warning  from  within  Statistics  section,  the  user  will  be  redirected  to  the  Fusion  Home  page  in  a  new  browser  so  Fusion  will  be  running  in  2  browsers.    Workaround:  Proceed  with  normal  usage.  This  notification  is  for  information  about  behavior.

MLXchange  Tempo

Tools   Staff  tool  to  add  picklist  values  is  causing  duplicate  values.        Workaround:  In  addition  to  potential  sources  of  issue  being  refined,  a  tool  was  developed  to  clean  up  and  fix  duplicates.  (B-‐106299)
