automated forging machines, automated threading and

digital controlled heat treatment ovens.

Un-matched CapacityExceed's annual sucker rod manufacturing capacity is well

over 100 million feet, making us the largest single sucker

rod manufacturing facility in the world. Leveraging cloud-

based ERP, inventory management systems, and experienced

operation teams. Exceed easily meets the demands of the

largest oil producers in the world.

Un-compromised QualityQuality is the top priority in the factory’s operations. The QA

department reports directly to the president of the company.

With sustained investment in new testing and inspection

equipment, and the continuation of improvements on the

quality control processes, the QA department rigorously

inspect and test every rod from raw material to final product.

Exceed proudly stands behind every rod it produces. Since

the beginning, Exceed created a culture where quality is our

highest priority and we set the bar for improving all quality

standards. Over the years, a systematic quality management

system was developed and integrated into each step of the

manufacturing process. Under the direct supervision from the

president of the company, the QA department goes beyond

the requirement of ISO9001 and API to test, inspect, track,

analyze, and correct any issues throughout the entire product

life cycle.

EHT RodDove-tail connection for PCPConventional approaches of adopting or modifying traditional sucker rods for PCP applications often fall short in

meeting the higher torque and other unique requirements of PCP. In 2006, engineers at Exceed Oilfield Equipment

started the research and development of a PCP specific rod. The current generation EHT Rod features our patented

locking dove-tail connection and case hardened rod body. Overall, it offers 20-30% higher torque. Customers

who switched to the EHT technology have seen benefits of reduced load, improved operating efficiency, and lower

failure rates.

Smart-Rod To help customers better manage their rod asset and improve

operation efficiencies, Exceed has developed the Smart-Rod

technology. Each Smart-Rod has a RFID chip embedded inside

the rod pin, giving it a unique ID that can be traced throughout

the rod’s life cycle. A handheld reader can conveniently identify

each rod during workover operations and asset management

activities. Rod information collected, combined with the well

database information, can then be used to guide decisions to

confidently reuse, categorize, and locate used sucker rods from

a particular batch reliably and confidently.

A brief HistoryNine-Ring, Exceed’s parent company, was established in 1984 in China.

Starting in 1994, the company focused all its efforts on manufacturing and

research and development of Sucker Rods. Exceed relied on a stream of

new innovations and relentless effort to improve product quality, earn trust

among customers, and gain market share as the company grows. We quickly

became the dominant sucker rod supplier in China. In 2007, Nine-Ring

moved from the city center to a new manufacturing facility and introduced

the first automated forging production line in China.

In 2012, as the company continued to grow, Exceed Oilfield Equipment

was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nine-Ring to better serve

global customers. Exceed's headquarters is located in Houston, Texas,

with satellite and stocking locations strategically established with sales and

service teams in the major producing fields. Exceed has become a new

global brand name.

To meet the global demand potential, the 2nd manufacturing facility opened

in 2015. Two additional automated forging lines were added along with a

state of the art automated threading line. With these new additions, Exceed

has become the largest sucker rod manufacturer in the world.
