Welcome to our latest Bardon update!

It has certainly been a busy first quarter for us at RE/MAX Profile, being a hub of activity with listings and sales. With these cooler evenings and winter just around the corner, now is a great time to show off the warm, comfortable and cosy nature of your home.

The market is looking positive with higher growth rates, the low interest rates have helped and the massive growth in some other major cities assisted investors to find Brisbane attractive. A new report released by the Real Estate Institute of Queensland said average house prices in December last year reached $632,000, about six per cent higher than 12 months ago. House prices in Bardon have risen 13.9 per cent in five years with a median house price reaching $849,543 for this first quarter of 2016. Family homes with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lock up garage have now become hot property.

This report includes settled sales in Bardon from 1st January to 31st March 2016. We have included detailed information on the 31 properties sold - a great document to reference if you are building your knowledge of property values in the area.

Please remember to keep Saturday August 13th free in your diary, as we are holding our Annual Gala ‘Wishing Well’ Ball at the Pullman Hotel for a fabulous evening of wining, dining, dancing and entertainment. Last year’s event was a massive hit, raising over $7800 for Make-A-Wish and this year we hope to raise even more! If you have a business and would like to support this great cause we are looking for donations for our live and silent auctions and would appreciate anything you can give.

For any assistance and no obligation advice with regard to selling, buying, investing or renting please feel free to give us a call as we would love to help.

Warmest regards,

Grant PenroseEmail: [email protected]
