• A great way to retell a story is to create a story map. You don’t have to be great at drawing – just give it a go.

• You will need: Card, string or wool, straws, tape, scissors, pencil

• Draw around your hand and cut out• Cut 3 straw segments for each finger and 2 for

the thumb and the long portion to go from the hand to the wrist

• Line up the straw segments and tape the down –careful you don’t cover the ends

• Tape down the string to the back of the hand and thread it through each finger segment down to the wrist, leaving a length of string at the end so that you can move the fingers

Go on a number hunt

• Look around your house or garden and take photographs of any numbers you see

• INSTRUCTIONS• Halve and peel each banana. Insert

a popsicle stick into each banana half.

• Dip bananas into yogurt, using a spoon to coat each banana evenly. Let excess yogurt drip off.

• Add sprinkles or topping of your choice.

• Place bananas on a tray or plate covered with baking paper. Freeze until the yogurt has hardened, about 2 hours. (Allow for more time if you would like the banana to be frozen through).

Whatever the result, it doesn’t matter, it’s

Paint some spots on paper, leave out in the rain for a short time and see how the rain drops enhance your

painting
