REMEMBERING PATRICIA FLOOD-MORENO’S SPECIAL DAY

Patricia Flood-Moreno’s dedication to Los Angeles Mission College for 16 years was prolific. She received praise, awards, and gifts from the college, LACCD, City of Los Angeles, and her adoring family and friends at last year’s magnificent party, celebrating her 45 years of work in education. Pat’s legacy continues with the LAMC Foundation where she serves as a board member and raises scholarship funds for our students.

Pat’s memorable party

The gathering of the Mission College Family in the Campus Center on July 9, 2015 was testimony that Patricia Flood-Moreno was one of our most beloved professors. The roomful of admirers came from near and far to honor and express their appreciation to Pat for her kindness and friendship to all and her deep devotion to the college. Vilma Bernal, emcee at Pat’s party, told the audience, “We have one common denominator…we love Pat!” The most daring thing that Pat has ever done was revealed at the party.
