thread bolted all the way through the box beam on house.• The manufacturer recommends footings 6 ft. on center and

• Make plan of layout and pattern of deck materials (i.e. Natural stone orbrick pavers).

stone or brick pavers).• Add 2x4 cleats on to both sides (except the exterior of the fascia

boards) of joists 1-1/2” below the top surface of the joists.

Note: Silca GratesTM have 2sets of 3 screw holes on oneside and 1 set of 3 on theother. Cut to width on the2-set side.

Place Silca GratesTM on Top of 2x4 Cleats• Screw in place with 4 coated #9 3” deck screws

• Install Silca GrateTM over desired area.

Silca GratesTM if polymeric sand is to be used in construction.

check for pattern and material fit and trim.

Polymeric Sand Application Tips • Check weather forecast to allow for 12 hours of curing time

without precipitation.

• Pour Polymeric sand into all joints from bag.

• Use broom to ensure all joints are filled with sand.

• Excess sand on the surface of the decking material can be removed using a wet/dry vacuum or leaf blower LIGHTLY. Be sure all joints remain filled with sand.

• Lightly mist polymeric sand and entire deck material surface using a garden hose or mister. Be sure all joints are saturated.

• Repeat misting 3 times.
