Find, Replace, Go To

Located under the Edit Menu in Word

Choose:FindReplaceGo To

After Choosing, here’s what appears…

FIND – used to find text in a document

In the Find what box, enter the text you want to search for.

Click, Find Next.

REPLACE – used to replace text

In the Find what box, enter the text you want to find and replace.

In the Replace with box, enter the text you want to use as the replacement.

Replace Options

To search for the next occurrence of the text, click Find Next. To replace only one occurrence, click Replace. To replace all occurrences, click Replace All.

Replaced Text

Go To – used to find a specific location in a document

You can find a specific Page, Section, Line, Bookmark, Comment, Footnote, Endnote, Field, Table, Graphic, Equation, Object, or Heading.

Go To: The Selection

Choose which option you would like under Go to what

Type the number in the textbox to the right.

Click Go To when you are finished.
