Wilm‘s Tumor: -common solid renal tumor of

childhood.- Age : 3 yrs. -sex : 1:1 .

- 5% bilateral.- Familial and non Familial

-associated with congenital genitourinary abnormalities.

Adenocarcinoma of the kidney Called also Hypernephrom,Renal cell carcinoma. most common renal tumor in adult. Age:5th-6th decade. sex: male:female 2:1.

Cell of origin:Proximal convoluted tubules. Etiology: -Cigarette smoking. (well documented) -shoes worker.,leather tanners,cadmium. -Hereditary,sporadic. -Acquired cystic disease in renal failure patients.

Adenocarcinoma of the kidney Pathology:

-Grossly:yellow to orange.- Histologically,RCC mixed adenocarcinoma

contain clear cells,granular cells ,and sarcomatoid appearing cells.

Metastasis: Direct invasion into renal vein,perinephric fat,

and adjacent viscera. Distant Metastasis to lung, liver,bone,LNS.
