Turn:
- the catches (1) a quarter turn anticlockwise,
- the catch (2) a quarter turn clockwise.
Remove the flap.
Unclip the centre stalk cover (3) .
Turn the catch (4) a quarter turn anticlockwise.
Remove the flap.
Remove the cover (5) .

When this function is activated, all the triggerlines are inhibited and the air bag warning light onthe instrument panel lights up continuously (igni-tion on).
WARNING
The frame seals should be handled carefully toavoid any risk of damage or marking.

Remove the wheel arch interior trim (partially).
Unclip the trim (15) .
Remove the seat belt web via the aperture (16) .
Remove:
- the plate nut (depending on equipment level).
- the belt from the rear quarter panel trim.
Unclip the two mounting pins (17) using tool (Car.1597) .
Remove the part, pulling it off by hand from above.

Unclip the trim.
Press on the clip (18) .
Remove the trim retaining clips towards the rear (19).
Carefully unclip the trim (this operation requires twopeople).
Fit the trim on the head rests (this operation requirestwo people).
Disconnect the various connectors.
Carefully remove the trim via the tailgate to preventit bending (this operation requires two people).

SPECIAL NOTES ON REMOVING THE HEADLINING FROM A ROOF WITH A SUNROOF:
Remove the sunroof switch using unclipping pliers,protecting the trim.
Disconnect the connectors.
REFITTING
Return the trim via the tailgate.
Connect the connectors (wiring on trim).
Centre the trim while fitting the grab handles.
Check the condition of the clips (20) before refittingthe trim (part no. 82 00 100 314 ).
Proceed in the reverse order to removal.
Note:
The procedure deals only with componentswhich are present if the vehicle is fitted with asunroof. The rest of the procedure is the same asfor a model without a sunroof.

- the seat belt guide.

- the belt bolt cover (2) ,
- the bolt.
Remove the belt guide with a flathead screwdriver(3) .
Remove:
- the rear quarter panel trim,
- the seat belt web via the aperture.
REFITTING
Torque tighten the seat belt mounting bolts ( 2.1daNm ) .
Proceed in the reverse order to removal.

Protect the trim (using a mastic knife for example).
Unclip the window winder plate (at the front) usingthe unclipping pliers, for the left-hand door.
Disconnect the connectors.
Remove the plate.
Unclip the window winder plate (at the rear) usingthe unclipping pliers, for the right-hand door.
Disconnect the connector.
Unclip the pull handle trim.
Note:
In the event of a door replacement or operation onthe bodywork (see 47A, Side opening elements,Front side door ).

- the storage compartment plastic rivet,
Insert a hand to the base of the storage compart-ment.
Push your hand towards the interior of the door boxsection until the storage compartment unclips.
Remove the storage compartment from its housing.
Remove the two pull handle bolts (1) .
Unclip the flap with the unclipping pliers (while pro-tecting the lower trim).
Remove the flap.

Remove the door opening control cover and bolt (2) .
Unclip:
- the opening control cable mounting cover with aflat-blade screwdriver,
- the rear-view mirror adjustment control (3) ,
- the light.
Remove the handle.
Disconnect the connectors.
Remove:
- the three bolts (4) ,
- the trim (5) , (6) and (7) (partially).
Disconnect the speaker connector.
Unclip the wiring harness from the trim.
REFITTING
Proceed in the reverse order to removal.

Unclip the flap with the unclipping pliers (while pro-tecting the lower trim).
Remove the flap.
Unclip the light (2) with a flathead screwdriver.
Disconnect the connector.
Note:
If replacing a door or carrying out a bodywork ope-ration ( (see 47A, Side opening elements) ).

Unclip the sun vi sor (3) (only remove if replacing).
Remove:
- the bolt (4) ,
- the bolt (5) ,
- the trim (6) and (7) (partially).
Disconnect the speaker connector.
Unclip the wiring harness from the trim.
REFITTING
Proceed in the reverse order to removal.

Note:
When replacing the visor, do not unwind it beforefitting it on the trim; a clip maintains the visor'stension before fitting.
WARNING
If necessary, replace the adhesive sealing foamaround the window winder plate connector toensure it is leaktight.
Note:
For replacement, the trim will be delivered sepa-rately, so remember the wiring harness routing.

REFITTING
Proceed in the reverse order to removal.

Thread the belt through the cover rubber band (10) .
Secure the locking belt on the support.

Remove the headrest.
Unclip the upper trim from the seat belt guide.
Unclip the seat belt guide lower trim with a screwdri-ver (1) .
Remove the seat belt stalk mounting bolt.

- the seat cushion cover,
- the foam.
Pull out the ends of the zip fastener with a screwdri-ver.
Undo the zip fastener.
Remove the seatback cover as far as the headrestguides.

Press on the headrest guide clips to unclip them.
Remove the « cover - guides » assembly.
Remove the foam.
Remove the « frame - runners » assembly mountingnuts.
Remove the seat base cover.
Remove the casing (10) and (11) .
REFITTING
Refit the cover zip fastener using tool (Car. 1558)(blue in colour).
Tighten to torque:
- the stalk mounting bolts ( 25 Nm ) ,
- the frame-runners mounting nuts ( 25 Nm ) .
