SINGLE COLOR BLACK Available May 1, 2018

Another Style Upgrade from Renewal by Andersen. Renewal by Andersen® windows are now available with black interior. This interior color is only available as a single color combination (Black interior with Black exterior). This combination, complemented with our Black interior patio doors, opens new opportunities for homeowners to enjoy the versatile style that black windows can bring.

The new single color combination is a great solution for Professional Properties. Combining the color combination with the thermal properties of Fibrex® creates a competitive offering when compared to existing aluminum windows.

Along with the introduction of Black interior, comes a new hardware finish option. Black hardware is now added to the Standard hardware offering for all operable window styles. Black hardware is the default hardware option for single color Black operating windows, however Black hardware is a great complement to other interior color options as well. Estate finishes are also available as an excellent design option for Black interior.

PRICING

As with the current Dark Bronze pricing, Black interior is exclusively available with Black exterior and is priced as a single color wrapped finish. Black exterior is still available as a dual color option with other interior finishes and the pricing for this is not impacted by the addition of Black interior.

Black Standard hardware pricing is consistent with all other Standard hardware.

RSUITE IPAD APP

PriceCalc.slim has been updated within rSuite to accommodate quoting of single-color Black. If you have the most current input sheet, you will already have single-color Black capability built within it; no further action is needed beyond simply accepting an update as prompted on your app. The update will be pushed out to users on the official launch date (May 1, 2018). The required input sheet is provided on theVIBE: Library > MOBILE APPS: rSuite App > PriceCalc.SLIM (rSuite Version).

OMS and rForce are ready to accept orders for single-color Black windows and all new coordinating parts and accessories.

Manual order forms are updated and can be downloaded from theVIBE (Departments > Customer Service).

RenewalbyAndersen.com is updated to reflect Black as an interior color offering; this includes the product visualizer as well as individual product pages.

Black interior and Black hardware Sell sheets, as well as window clings are included in the launch kit. Assets are also available on the iPad and theVIBE. Additional assets will be made available over time, post launch.

Those marketing materials, currently in use, which reference color options are updated digitally; print assets will be updated at the time of their next scheduled reprint.

The existing color card is still accurate; Black interior does not require a change in the card (as Black int. and ext. match) and is available for purchase on the Marketplace.

Reference, parts, and technical documents are up-to-date to reflect Black as an interior color, where applicable.

10 color samples are provided in each launch kit and a limited quantity of individual samples are on the Marketplace for purchase to update your current sample chains. New sample chains will now include Black interior.

ACCESSORY ITEMS

With this new interior color, other accessory items are offered in Black:

• Casement & Awning interior mounted insect screen frames are Black

• Interior facing grille surfaces (Interior Wood, GBG) are Black

• Additional interior trim, mulling, and accessory items are also available in wrapped Black

• Double-Hung & Gliding window lock shims are available in black (previously only Stone & White)

NEUTRAL COLOR

Like select other color options, the neutral, or "transition" color is different between the interior and the exterior. Currently, the transition colors for our color combinations vary based on the specific combination. With the introduction of Black Interior as a single color offering, the transition color is Terratone for the Gliding window sash channel and Double-Hung sill rib. Just as with Terratone and Sandtone single color Double-Hung windows, the headliner and side jamb components' transition color is gray, (reference the Specifications and Technical Manual for details).

EXCEPTIONS

Curved SW and SWU, just as with Dark Bronze interior, will continue to be painted pine interior at launch. Curved wrapped SWU is planned for later in 2018; updates to follow.

PROVEN COLOR TECHNOLOGY

As with Renewal by Andersen's Dark Bronze interior, Black interior will utilize the proven micro-texture technology, which is applied onto the interior of the window components. Renewal by Andersen's Black interior has a satin, low-gloss finish that performs well, while offering the elegance of a dark interior without high homeowner maintenance.

Black interior color will be provided to you similarly as wood interior. Surfaces that have wood applied onto them for wood interiors will use the same surface for the application of the Black interior.

WARRANTY
